Strength is Synonymous with Unity

United we stand if divided we will fall. Malaysia is a multiracial country. The people
are tolerant and open-minded. Unity helps the country to thrive.

Unity can prevent conflicts. Multiracial countries are difficult to maintain unity.
There are different cultures and different beliefs and ideas. There are clashing ideas
that lead to conflicts. Sometimes social issues can lead to dangerous situations.
That’s why unity is important to harmony.

Besides that, unity preserves cultures. Culture and heritage define identity.
Being multiracial in Malaysia, unity allows people to work and live together while
protecting their own culture based on different races and ethnics. Unity that defines
Malaysia’s identity is protecting different cultures in Malaysia. Everyone respects
each other and people can practice their culture freely.

Unity also benefits the country. Tourism is a major source of income of


Malaysia. Multiracial people and the different cultures attract many tourists. Malaysia
also has kind and good people. A kind community with the existence of many
different cultures is achieved by unity. Unity of different cultures and people attracts
tourists.

Much of the country’s success is possible because of unity. Unity helps


Malaysia by preventing conflicts, preserving cultures and also benefits the country.
Therefore, for Malaysia, our strength is unity.
