Anchor 2: Please be seated… (to be uttered after the dignitaries have occupied their seats).

Anchor 1: A wonderful morning to everyone converging on this memorable theatrical junction of Inter-
House English Drama Competition of Harvest International School. “Movies will make you famous;
Television will make you rich; But theatre will make you good.” With these words of Terrence Mann, let
me introduce myself, I am __________________________ of Grade 10

Anchor 2: And I, ………………………………………, join in extending our warmest welcome to you all
- the visionary audience who breathe life into the auditorium.

Anchor 1: Let me take this moment to introduce the judges of the competition, who are known for their
judicial evaluation of theatrical performances in the city. We are happy to have them amidst us, this
morning.

Anchor 1: This is not just about a simple drama performance, it's a journey we collectively embark upon
– a journey into another world, another era, guided by the talented troupe of actors of our school.

Anchor 2: Theatre has this magical ability to dissolve realities and immerse us into the heart of stories.
Today, the spotlight shines on various dramatic masterpieces, handpicked by each house of our school.

Anchor 1: “Theatre is the place people come to see the truth about life and the social situation. The
theatre is a spiritual and social X-ray of its time,” says Stella Adler. So gather your expectations, as the
stage is set for AIR house, the actors are ready, and the story is eager to unfold.

Anchor 2: The first team has left us with awesome thoughts! From the poignant performances to the
intricate direction and design, we've witnessed a visual spectacle. Thank you team.
Anchor 1: Yes, Indeed. American playwright, Edward Albee, believes that a drama’s goal is to stir
humans to change. So let’s gather our expectations, as the stage is set for EARTH house, the actors are
ready, and the next story is about to unfold.

Anchor 2: The second team has left us with a strong lesson to be learnt for our life! It was a sensational
performance. Thank you team.

Anchor 1: “Family is the theatre of the spiritual drama, the place where things happen, especially the
things that matter,” says G.K. Chesterton. So brace yourself for an exciting story that is waiting to be
revealed, as the characters are prepared and the stage is set for FIRE house.

Applause to our gifted performers who've taken us through this spectacular voyage. Thank you team.

ready.

Anchor 2: Now, that was an emotional rollercoaster! let's take a moment to let the reality sink back in.

Anchor 1: It’s heartening to see stories beautifully unfolded and deeply rooted in our hearts. A standing
ovation to our cast, crew and you - our beloved audience! Now, I call upon ______________________
