WHAT IS AN AUDIO?
is a sound, that is usually recorded, transmitted, or
reproduced.

In digital just like the computer, audio can be processed by


converting the analog signal into a digital code using PCM
(Phase Change Memory). Audio frequency (AF) is an
electrical alternating current within the 20 to 20,000 hertz range
that can be used to produce acoustic sound.
WHAT IS AUDIO MEDIA?
It is a media communication that used audio
recordings to deliver and transfer information
through the means of sound.

TEXT MEDIA MEDIA

It may refer to audio formats, analog tape


cassettes and digital CDs, or any computer files
containing audio, in any number of digital
formats.
FORMAL VS. INFORMAL AUDIO MEDIA
1. Informal – It is created by
individuals often for personal
use.

TYPES OF AUDIO INFORMATION
1. Radio Broadcast – live or
recorded audio sent through
radio waves to reach a wide
audience.

2. Music – vocal or
instrumental sounds combined
in such a ways as to produce
beauty of form, harmony, and

3. Sound Recording –

1. Tape – magnetic tape on
which sound can be recorded.
