JOURNAL:
Today is our first day of deployment and I am so excited to learn and meet my
classmates even just through Google Meet. Every 1pm-4pm will be our time schedule for
meeting with Ma’am Marivel Catacutan our STASS Coordinator. As I was waiting for the
time, I prepared myself, wearing my type C uniform and logged in through the meeting
just before 1pm; today we have learned and discussed about The Introduction of
Teaching Internship, 4 Phases of Internship and the Code of Ethics for Professional
Teachers.
REFLECTION:
Today I have learned new things about what the reporters have discussed, and this
topics are very important for us future educators. First, as a future teacher we need to
undergo practice teaching or the teaching internship for us to learn and develop our
skills as we go along through an actual teaching as said this could be an opportunity for
us to experience and value teaching and to have an effective teaching in the future.
Second , the 4 phases of Internship is where we can follow the methods and guidelines
in the field of internship where we need to cope up with the different personnel from
other schools and what should we be doing during our internship. The last one is the
Code of Ethics for Professional Teachers wherein as a teacher we need to possess
morality and values, practice proper behavior with dignity and respect to our students, to
the school staff , the parents and community and also to our profession as a future
educator.

JOURNAL:
Today before entering the Google Meet I made sure to be prepared and confident
because I will be reporting one of the important topic that we need to remember as a
future teacher which is the Anti-Bullying Act of 2013, Magna Carta for Public School
Teachers, Child Protection and Anti-Harassment. Along with this, the time schedule is
the same and Ma’am Catacutan is here to guide us as we go along with the discussion.
Aside from this I also learned more about what to remember and apply in becoming a
future teacher.
Reflection:
This day I learned that in becoming a teacher we need to have the courage of ensuring
our students safety to provide a conducive learning environment. As a teacher I need to
be more observant and responsible of my students behavior, attitude and personalities,
show and teach them moral lessons and life experiences as to be their overview
because it is the only thing to know and help them, encourage them not to be exposed
through social media that has a huge impact in influencing students. As an educator I
need to know learn my rights and status especially on being a professional teacher in
the future in which I also need to know my salaries, rates and tax. Finally being a
teacher I need not only myself but also the parents cooperation to mold and teach their
children in ways I couldn’t do as what parents should, cope up with the community and
help encourage more people about/of child protection to be more aware and for children
to attain their rights as part of the community.

JOURNAL:
After cooking for lunch i took a bath and prepared myself for my class. This afternoon
there were many reporters because they only have little topics yet was all important ,
these topic was the Diversity of Learners and Classroom Routines, Procedures and
Structures. After the class i took screenshots because I’m the one who will save those
photos for the attendance. I had fun today with my classmates, although we haven't
seen each other for a long time but the bond and friendship is still there.
REFLECTION:
What I have learned today is that as a future teacher I need to see and promote equality
inside and outside of the classroom whether learners are different through their color,
traits, culture, religion, gender and language usage I want to teach my students how to
respect one’s differences and learn to cooperate with each other to build good
relationship. Also as a teacher I need to be flexible and make strategies that everyone
will be able to understand, ask questions to know and solve issues regarding the
discussions and provide feedback to students. Finally as a future teacher there is a need
to have a classroom routines, procedures and structures to know if there’s a need of
adjustments and changes. This is important for me so that I can provide my classroom a
conducive learning environment that is pleasant for everyone and to teach students to
follow basic rules and regulations as one way of building their values.

JOURNAL:
This afternoon we continued our reporting but before that, ma’am Catacutan gave us
some reminders about our portfolios, modules and proper behavior in the class wearing
proper uniform and to be neat. After that we proceeded to the reporting and it was about
Lesson Planning. For a teacher lesson planning is very important because this is the
basis for the flow of her class. Also today I went to school to help out sorting modules
while listening to our class through google meet.
REFLECTION:
As a future teacher Lesson Planning is the most important part of being a teacher
because this is where I will plan my class discussion, how I incorporate my learning
activities and strategies to motivate students to learn and listen. What I learned is to
make learning objectives correctly and that follows Bloom’s Taxonomy where there is
Cognitive, Affective and Psycho-motor Domain that will help us provide better and
specific objectives for our class to be successful at the end and learners could learn and
reflect this through reality and experiences.

JOURNAL:
Today I woke up early because I was excited for my face to face class, and we will be
meeting our cooperating teacher Ms. Geraldine A. Serdan a Filipino major teacher who
we love the most. I prepared my uniform and afterwards I went to school, I stayed in the
classroom 235 with my co-practice teachers. Not late ma’am Serdan arrived and we had
a little talk about how it is good to see each and that we will be finally graduating this
year. Moreover we discussed about some schedules and that we will be having a
Traditional Demo-Teaching, and we will be passing our lesson plans so that ma’am can
give us advise or suggestion to make or demo even better. Finally we had separate
ways but will be meeting again next week.
REFLECTION:
This day was a blast, I met all my co-Filipino practice teachers and I am very happy that
we will have a demo. Having this opportunity is a great feeling because it will enhance
my teaching skills as I go through an actual teaching and being mentored by ms. Serdan
is great privilege because she is one of the most active teacher I know. I learned that
being a future teacher we need to work hard and plan our lessons very well for us to
have a successful teaching and to touch students heart after the class.

JOURNAL:
Before logging in to the class meeting, I prepared myself, wearing my type C uniform
and opened my laptop. I downloaded the powerpoint files of my classmate to present it .
This afternoon we finished the remaining reports about Assessment. This topic is
important because as a future teachers we need to provide feedback to our students
works.
REFLECTION
As a future teacher I need to plan properly my lesson, the instructional materials that I
will be using and the flow of the discussion for my students to understand and will be
able to answer the given quiz or activity. As of this I need to facilitate my students work
and performance for them to achieve a successful outcome in a given task. As a future
teacher I need to practice my communication skills and ways of giving feedback to
students to learn better and have a meaningful experience in the my class.

JOURNAL:
As I woke up this morning I planned to finish my paperworks for me to focus on my
lesson plan. I reviewed my lesson plan this morning and edit it to enhance what
important topics and activities I should imposed in my demo-teaching. Also I prepared
my materials that I will be using for the traditional demo-teaching for ma’am serdan like,
cartolina, construction papers, tapes, pentel pens, japanese papers and folders.
REFLECTION:
As a practice teacher I learned that it is important to prepare all your things and files
before the deadline or the day of your demo-teaching. To budget and know what
important things should be bought and to learn how to improvise or to be resourceful at
all times so that we can save money. Lastly I have to plan my lesson plan properly so
that I can have an effective demo-teaching this coming Wednesday, I have to plan the
strategies and activities that I will be putting on my class for us to enjoy and understand
the topic/discussion.
