CHAPTER I

PROJECT SYNOPSIS

I. Title of the Project

<Here the title of the project has to be specified. A group of students may be
working on a same project, but they should title the project with respect to
the module/(s) or based on the subsystem which they undertake. The title of
the project should be more relevant and points at the use of modern
technology. Try to avoid ambiguity in the title of the project.>

II. Statement of the Problem

<When you undertake the project work, concentrate more on the problem
both Application based projects or Research Projects. When the problem is
clearly stated, it is possible to move on with the solution step-by-step
process. The candidate has to take adequate care while stating the problem
that whether the statement of the problem is correct, is it possible to take up
this project, identify the obstacles, what are the strengths, weakness in
getting the solution.>

III. Purpose

<This section involves the software engineers thinking ability and the
command over the problem solving pedagogy. It is necessary to tell why the
candidate has chosen this problem. There is a need of introspection in this
regard. Whether the problem has been chosen just because it is easy or is it
really challenging, how it really helps the candidate and the business
community, through this project what the candidate wants to achieve overall,
does it really help in bridging the gap between the domain and technology,
whether an efficient solution or algorithm can be designed to achieve this,
whether there is any scope for the future work.>

IV. Objective and Scope

<Here the candidate has to clearly define the objective. This should give a
clear picture of the project. What the project ends up to and in what way
this is going to help the end user has to be mentioned. It is essential to give
the plan of providing solution to the problem at this stage. Various
milestones could be kept. Since most of the business solutions are complex
and lengthy they require a multi stage/ phase solution. There is a need for
the scope to be mentioned exclusively. This will highlight only the segment
which needs the solution. Scope will give an advantage of making the
problem complete in the specified area of applications>.

V. Process Description

<The process description should be brief. This should be supported by /

Flowcharts to explain the flow of the information.>

VI. Resources

<The requirement of the resources for designing and developing the

proposed system must be given. The resources might be in form of the
Hardware / software or the data from the industry. It is essential to know
what are the requirements of various hardware and support systems,
Servers, Networking components, et. From the software side the type of
Operating systems, Language support, Database Management system, Web
technologies, Data retrieval systems etc. Some time there is a need for data
migration which needs to be addressed.
CHAPTER II
SURVEY OF TECHNOLOGIES

Give a detailed description of Technologies used by you for the project

(minimum of 5 pages)

backend and also construct an ER diagram for the same.)

FORMAT FOR THE TABLE DESIGN

Table Name:

CHAPTER IV

same screenshots must be presented during the live demonstration of the
project. (minimum 10 pages)
