• Teach any vocabulary that you anticipate will be new or especially difficult for the
students in your group.
• Reduce vocabulary confusion.
• Make sure your learners are familiar with the people they will be listening to.
• Set a clear task for learners to complete before pressing play.

As a task I could propose a group game, one of the students should be blindfolded while the
others sing a song in English and the one who is blindfolded should recognize as many words
as possible as a competition.

1. How many new words do you think students can learn in a class?

I have an idea that each student could learn three to five new words in each class.

2. How important do you think the topic is in a listening comprehension class?

It is very important because they learn to develop their hearing better and progressively learn
to modulate words correctly.

3. What kind of prior support do the students need before playing the audio/video?
They need a pre-teaching, i.e., a prelude to what will be the main topic.

There are several applications that today teach English through applications, in the same way
they could watch videos on youtube, another situation would be to listen to music in English,
all these are situations in which they could enter the world of English through what they hear.

DESCRIBE HOW READING IS CONNECTED TO LEARNING VOCABULARY

AND WRITING

In this activity or video we can observe how teachers use different strategies so that the
student can have a comprehensive reading, since in their classrooms you have many students
who lack writing and vocabulary, phonemic awareness and phonological awareness, all of
these characteristics. Fluency depends on word knowledge, which are critical words that will
help students read immediately and begin to understand the text.
In this video we see the high level of commitment as well as rigorous instruction, and a
teaching method that is easy to share with other teachers.

Paper tearing this technique is important for the child as it stimulates the brain and the
coordination of the fingers and eye. this activity requires a thin or thick paper, the child is
told to make thick strips and when he/she has mastered the technique of making thick strips
the next level is to make thin strips and circles or squares with the paper. this activity helps
the child to be able to write.

children who exercise writing on paper improve their motor skills (fine coordination) and,
according to experts, it also helps them retain information more intensely, enhances learning
and neurodevelopment and helps stimulate their brain circuits, developing other learning-
related skills such as drawing or coloring.
