for that specific topic.
4. Sharing of lecture materials outside this course is strictly prohibited.
Students caught doing so may be penalized based on the student
handbook.
5. Submit the course requirements on time.
6. Observe university policies.
Course Requirements: 1. Attendance
1.1 Read you student handbook for guidelines regarding your
attendance. Tardiness and absences will be strictly observed during the
course. ONCE A STUDENT REACHES THE MAXIMUM ABSENCES OR
TARDINESS DURING THE COURSE, AUTOMATICALLY THE STUDENT
WILL BE ENDORSED TO THE DEPARTMENT CHAIR AND DEAN FOR A
GRADE OF FA (FAILURE DUE TO ABSENCES).
2. Recitation
2.1 Every meetings, there will be graded recitation either in a form of oral
presentations or class board works. Recitation will be graded based on the
criteria given by the instructor during a particular activity. EVERYONE IS
ENJOINED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE DISCUSSION.
3. Quizzes
3.1 Quizzes will be given at any time of the class during the course. It can
be a planned or surprise quiz. There will be no special quizzes at any time
of the course.
3.2 Always bring sheets of bond paper, pens and most importantly
calculators during the course. No one is allowed to borrow pens and
calculators from his/her classmates during quizzes and major examinations.
3.3 Integrity and Honesty are two of the FEATI core values, thus, cheating
will never be allowed during the course. Once a student is caught,
automatically he/she will be endorsed to the department chair and dean for
a grade of 5.0 for the entire course and will be subjected to counseling.
4. Reports/Assignments
4.1 Reports will be assigned individually/pairs/groups depending on the
objectives of a particular report or activity. It will be graded based on the
criteria given by your instructor. Reports can either be oral or written or both
at the same time.
4.2 Assignments are home based activities to be submitted by the students
on the required date set by their instructor. THESE ARE HOME BASED
ACTIVITIES; THEREFORE, THESE SHOULD BE DONE AT HOME NOT
AT SCHOOL. Assignments will be graded based upon the criteria set by
your instructor for a given activity.
4.3 Again, be always reminded of your CORE VALUES. NEVER EVER

MATERIALS DURING THE ENTIRE COURSE.
FAILURE TO ABIDE WILL AUTOMATICALLY MERIT A GRADE OF 5.0
AND CAN BE GROUNDS FOR EXPULSION.
5. Major Examinations
5.1 Major examinations will be given at the dates set by the university.
THERE WILL BE NO SPECIAL EXAMS THAT WILL BE GIVEN ONCE A
STUDENT FAILED TO MAKE IT AT THE ASSIGNED DATE AND TIME.
Strictly, No Cheating policy and again once caught, it will automatically
merit a student of 5.0 and be endorsed for counseling.
6. Student Portfolio
6.1 Portfolios are made in able for you and your instructor to closely monitor
your progress during the entire course. Portfolios are compilations of all
coursework in the entire semester. This includes all lectures, quizzes,
assignments, major examinations, reports and other course works.
6.2 Your instructor will give you the grades you acquired in each part of the
semester. For example, once the preliminary exams were finished and
checked, your instructor will give your accumulated grade for that period.
You are required to provide a copy of the grade forwarded to you at your
portfolio.
6.3 You are also required to attach a weekly personal reflection at your
portfolio. This will enable your instructor to evaluate your performance and
comprehension in a particular topic. This can also give way for tutorial and
review classes.
6.4 FAILURE TO SUBMIT THE FINAL HARD BOUND COPY OF YOUR
PORTFOLIO WILL AUTOMATICALLY MERIT YOU A GRADE OF INC.
Your instructor will closely monitor your portfolio and in any given date, he
will look at it and have it as his basis for your portfolio grade.
