life. Besides, the survey also brings many recycling solutions for people in general and students in

particular. In general up, the majority of opinions said that recycling is important for both students

and people, the survey aims to find out what people think about recycling and how to manage it and

find solutions, remedy for waste disposal.

Introduction

Over the recent years, our society have faced with multiple challenges in many aspects, especially

discharge. Indeed, the problem of waste disposal has caused many problems for countries around

the world. It causes serious pollution to the environment and life. Therefore, recycling is extremely

necessary, besides, it is also necessary to think about recycling in the most effective and thorough

way.

The management of waste has many different effects on those who are engaged community and

individuals. Using Ekvall's (1999) method, a study was conducted to see if one of the several

criteria to evaluate, such as the environmental impact of different treatment options or technological

remedies. There were several tools available for assessing environmental impact, but one of the

Life-cycle assessment is most frequently employed (LCA). It enables an elevated mindset. The

device to minimize waste. Ekvall claimed that this became necessary due to the ecological. The

effect of waste control sometimes has a greater impact on surrounding structures than at the device's

own exhaust for waste management. Furthermore, the majority of colleges create several strong

wastes (Armijo de Vega et al., 2008).

Recycling is a need in modern-day society. It brings many fine factors to the environment,

decreasing waste and growing the nice of lifestyles for human beings in particular, while paper,

glass and in particular plastic waste is growing.

The goal of the survey is to seize the expertise of the members in addition to locate extra answers to

lessen waste. Besides, it additionally imparts and offers extra understanding approximately

recycling to survey members.

Methodology

Studies changed into performed on December 12th, 2022 via way of means of International School

of Business (ISB).

College students in order to survey how college students alleviate waste. The befell at ISB, Ho Chi

Minh town campus. The pattern protected 50 college students from special universities, which

include 22 males and 28 girls who have been randomly selected. All of the individuals have been

Vietnamese, maximum of them have been University of Economics (UEH) and ISB freshman.

The foremost device to behavior the studies changed into primarily based totally on a questionnaire

which changed designed on Google Forms. There have been 13 questions. The first has been private

queries, and others have been especially approximately elements inflicting waste and techniques to

deal with it. Question nine indicated every person’s the concept that they may do whilst recycling,

even as different questions might perceive their manner whilst recycling.

Participants have been given an online hyperlink through message to get admission to the survey,

thus, the procedure took 3 days to get hold of all of the answers. In order to assist college students

to realize the questionnaire, questions have been translated into Vietnamese. As a result, numerous

responses have been collected. The data changed into in percent and might be offered in photo

forms.

Figure 1 demonstrates the percentage of freshman did the question about age in the questionnaire

of survey report. The percentage of freshman from 18 to 19 made up the majority with nine-tenth

(90%) percent while the number of students aged 24 and over have the lowest rate when it was

only 2 percent. Moreover, the amount of freshman from 20-21 years old accounted for 8 percent

of the students in the survey, which it not really high. This survey shows that the age group 18-

19 still accounts for the majority and the opinions in the survey mostly give us the answer of this

age group.

effect on energy was negligible as only 8.6 percent of students chose it. Besides, the number of

students who choose recycling to affect the air is quite high when reaching approximately a third.

However, there are still mixed opinions that recycling does not affect the environment at all, but

only accounts for a small part with more than 8 percent. Overall, the majority of students believe

human beings, and stage three has the maximum votes out of three with four persons. An overall

of forty human beings agreed that recycling becomes essential, with 14 votes for stage four and

26 human beings selecting stage 5, respectively. It may be visible that the members have an

excellent experience and information of the recycling trouble this is wanted on the moment.
Discussion

The study was conducted with the aim of finding the causes as well as the answers on whether

students should manage waste. After the questions, the results showed that it is essential for

students to manage waste and improve it.

There were two important findings in this survey. One of them was regarding the materials that

the surveyors chose for the smoothest management and recycling, plastic was the most used

material, which shows the positive effects when plastic was difficult for decomposed and

recycling it will bring many benefits. In addition, paper and cardboard were also selected,

although they do not have the same decomposition time as plastic, they will affect the

environment. It was also remarkable that all the students who participated in the survey

completed a question about which waste to recycle, a positive result knowing that the students

were interested in that issue.

The second crucial thing was what kind of environment will the management of discharge affect

and the water environment is the most affected environment, besides there were the air and

energy environment. That shows that water and air pollution were the two most affected

environments. In addition, it was necessary to propagate waste management and recycling in

order to protect the necessary resources for people and species on Earth. Besides that,

participants show their understanding and a high sense of about recycling.

This survey is tons higher than the preceding one. On the subject this time is taken into

consideration to be greater tough and exciting than the final time. The variety of survey members

multiplied sharply as compared to the final time with greater than 15 people. Besides, the variety
of questions has additionally multiplied via way of means of 2. Those things demonstrate that

the survey is more invested and more interesting.

Besides the positive points, the survey also has many problems. Typically, the survey had an

uneven number of men and women when women made up the majority, in addition, the number

of 50 respondents was quite limited and more people are needed to get more opinions. More than

300 participants are possible and the number of men and women should be equal.

For those reasons, withinside the future, the quantity of survey contributors wishes to be

multiplied, and the stability among ladies and men taking the survey ought to additionally be

ensured to keep away from struggle of opinion among the 2 sexes. The questions additionally

want to be multiplied and greater thrilling to inspire and create exhilaration for the contributors.
