- The topic is about the effects of teenage pregnancy on academic performance, specifically how
becoming pregnant at a young age can impact a student's ability to succeed academically.

2. what is the relevance and relation to your strand?

- The relevance of this topic lies in its connection to both education and public health. Teenage
pregnancy has been identified as a major public health concern, with potential consequences for both
the mother and child. At the same time, academic success is a critical factor in future opportunities and
career prospects. By exploring the relationship between these two areas, we can gain a better
understanding of the challenges faced by young parents and potentially identify strategies for
supporting their success in both areas.
