ii) Salt B reacts with dil HCl forming a colourless gas with rotten
egg smell which turns moist lead acetate paper silvery black.

iii)Salt C reacts with dil HCl on heating evolving a gas with
suffocating odour which turns acidified KMnO4 solution pink to
colourless

A greenish yellow gas evolved which turns moist starch iodide
paper blue black and finally bleaches it

c)A compound has the following % composition by mass
Zn=22.65% , S=11.15% , H=4.88% and O=61.32%.If the relative
molecular mass of the compound is 287 .find the molecular
formula of the compound. Assuming the presence of all
hydrogen in the water of crystallization present in the salt.

c) What would be the change in colour in red litmus solution if
ZCO3 is added to it and Z is potassium ? Why?
