Crude Oil refining in private sector and producing petroleum products for Domestic &International market with
present capacity of 18 MMTPA.

KEY DELIVERABLES:
Operations:
❖ Studying daily laboratory result test reports and highlighting the abnormalities and advices.
❖ Operations & Troubleshooting of Fired Heaters, Desalter, Crude Distillation Column, Heat Exchangers,
Pumps, Screw & Reciprocating Compressors, Stabilizer, H2S Absorber (Amine- MDEA), Vacuum
Distillation Column, Ejectors, Vacuum pumps, steam generation, re- contacting column etc.
❖ LPG amine treatment & Off-gas Amine treatment.
❖ Experience in Reviewing the Burner Management system, Trip logics of Heater & other product control
loops.
❖ Ensuring smooth operations of plant within the specified operational parameter by the manufacturer to meet
the organizational goals.
❖ Handling the start-up and shut-down activities.
❖ Coordinating with service departments for preventive shutdown, breakdown jobs.
❖ Compressor trial run, Heat exchanger leak test, Pump trial run, ID & FD Fan trial run, Heater ventilation and
start up, Plant emergency handling, Knowledge of Toxic gas handling.
❖ Safe preparation of equipment for maintenance, enforcing the safety rules in area and ensuring
housekeeping and clean-up, and assisting engineering, technical and other group working in area during
normal plant activities as well as shutdown activities.
❖ Operation of process equipment or any process by performing HAZOP to evaluate potential risks and
finding ways to eliminate it.
MAJOR PROJECT UNDERTAKEN:
Revamp and Shutdown
❖ Activities related to revamp and shutdown.
❖ Segregation of job scope to pre shutdown and shutdown jobs and execution of jobs.
❖ Decontamination of the equipment for man entry.
❖ Preparation of Hydro test, Flushing of loops and its procedures for identified system.
❖ Preparation & updating work progress of unit systems during pre-shutdown.
❖ Involved in conceptualization of decontamination process of pipelines, equipment for safe handing over of
equipment for construction activities.
❖ Commissioning of New facilities like additional Chemical Dosage system, Pumps, Heat exchangersColumn
and Column internals, flare system to achieve the revamp objective.
❖ Also worked in Special Task Force team member for Air Pre-Heaters module replacement job in running
plant.
❖ Successfully commissioned and start-up CDU after revamp and achieved 18 MMTPA and handled high sour
gas treatment.
SAFETY MANAGEMENT:
❖ Strictly follows the Safety Work Permit System for Hot work, cold work & Confined space entry.
❖ Follows safety practices with providing Tool Box Talk, Task Based Risk Assessment and Near MissReporting
for contract people working with Hydrocarbon & Toxic Gas Environment.
❖ Implementing safety measures during normal operation and emergency.
❖ Undergone through Basic fire training, Toxic gas Training, ERDMP, Process safety management &various
safety Mock Drills
TEAM MANAGEMENT:
❖ Directing, leading & motivating workforce and imparting continuous on job training for accomplishing
greater operational effectiveness/ efficiency.
❖ Working on succession planning of the workforce, shift management activities, appraising the member’s
performance & providing feedback.
THE HIGHLIGHTS:
❖ Operations of various Equipment’s: Fired Heaters, strippers, Distillation columns, shell and tube heat
exchanger, Filters, pumps and compressor. Extractor (LPG Recovery), Re-contacting Column,
Absorber (FG Recovery).
