ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

First of all, our group would like to thank each member for doing an

amazing job at each task. We are lucky to have each other while doing this journey

of learning. Second, to our professor Engr. Godofredo Blaquera for discussing how

to do this proposed business plan and the knowledge he gave us throughout our

Industrial Engineering years since day one that led us to this moment.

It’s also not possible without our family and friends who helped us. For our

dear respondents who answered our survey. It made this research possible with all

of their help.

CHAPTER I

INTRODUCTION

Errand services are helping those people and businesses who can't find time

to complete their regular task. As the pandemic occurred, the need for food delivery

services and transportation services became in demand. It is more convenient to

order food online and be delivered into the comfort of our home specially when

lockdowns were implemented same goes on with transportation services, public

transportation only had limited capacities and today it is still a struggle to

commute. So targeted both of these problems into one solution and added more

flexible features like doing other daily task.

Our team values our client's time and safety in our errand runner service

named GoTask.

Go Task Errand runner service is a home based service that is safe also for

our workers.

BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

While thinking of a business proposal. We thought of something that would

be a service for people who are struggling right now. The time today is very

different while in the pandemic. We industrial engineering students decided we

wanted to ease some problems that our society is facing today, we want to improve

the quality of our lives by providing services that minimize cost, hassle and waste

of energy and time. We made this business proposal to help not only food delivery

businesses and commuters but also those who don't have time to run their errands

or daily task. It is hard to use different apps to do different job. In one click, we can

do it all for our future clients. Specially those who are too old to go outside right. It

is hard to risk the health of people.

Respondents

Due to high amount of people who liked the idea of an errand runner

services and is interested in the services that we provide. We only selected 100

people that was given a google form to answer online.

Sources and methods of collecting data

We used google forms. Google Forms can compile all the standard survey

fields such as text, multiple choice questions, dropdowns, linear scales, and grids to

serve all sorts of data collection needs. The data is seen in the google drive. It

shows graphs.

We used primary data by giving the google forms to people then gathering

and collecting it.

via our customer support chat on facebook and instagram pages.

For instance elderly men and women often need errands run or things picked

up. But, they are rarely in a position to go themselves, and hate depending on

friends or relatives. Particularly various studies conducted reveal most elderly don't

mind paying for this unique service.

With more people working full-time and grumbling that they have more time

CHAPTER IV

MARKETING STUDY

Errand service providers are usually found in big metropolitan regions,

large cities, and villages with a high average income, while they are occasionally

hired by persons in lower income brackets. These service businesses handle

anything from laundry to personal shopping, all with the objective of making their

clients' lives and schedules easier. If you take the time to properly promote your

errand business, it may be quite profitable.

Target Market

Customers who can afford the luxury of an errand service should be

targeted. It won't make sense for to invest time and energy pursuing customers who

can't or won't pay for our services in this environment. Those in the upper and

upper-middle income levels, as well as business owners and corporations, will be

the most inclined to patronize our establishment. During the winter holiday season,

however, more middle-income people may be willing to spend money to assist

them finish their shopping and gift-wrapping.

22
The University of Manila
COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

Promotion Strategy

We will pay promotions of our social media pages and boost our following

and people who see it. We created promotional website link to our social media

pages. We made our website is clean, attractive, and simple to explore. We provide

details on the errand services we provide, our charges, the areas we serve, and the

advantages of employing an errand service.

Make a marketing strategy

To grow our business's audience, we will invest in marketing and advertising.

Our marketing strategy should center on how we will recruit new customers and

advertise our services to others. We also like to join in a business group to assist us

in learning more about the errand service industry and marketing our company. We

will also comply to healthy measures and to permit in LTO and LTFRB.

MANAGEMENT STUDY

This chapter focuses on the company's overall organizational structure. The

management aspect implies a clear and exact definition of roles and

responsibilities, authority flow, and manpower requirements. This document covers

the organizational chart as well as the qualifications of the individuals involved in

the construction of the corporate structure. It must be set up for maximum

efficiency. To do this, management must be able to organize all actions in order for

the company to become a dynamic and competitive corporation, utilizing human

resources, financial capabilities, and new technologies.

Form of ownership

Partnership is a type of business ownership in which partners pool money,

skills, and other resources and share profit and loss according to the partnership

agreement's conditions. A partnership is assumed to end if the participants in an

enterprise agree to share the related risks and profits equitably in the absence of

such an agreement. Each pattern's complementary abilities and additional contacts

can help them achieve bigger financial achievements together than they might

alone. For the business to last longer, mutual support and drive are required.
