Main Street Community Services,

Upon learning of your need for Developmental Support Worker, I decided to submit my resume for your
review. My experience in providing assistance to students with developmental disabilities in their daily learning,
supervising their extracurricular activities and ensuring their safety, providing them with community resources
among other roles—as a Community Service Worker who has adequate training on education, community
engagements and crisis intervention—gives me confidence in my ability to significantly benefit your
organization to help the students attain their learning goals.

My background in social support, service coordination, education and operational leadership and conflicts
management has prepared me to excel in this capacity. My communication strengths, coupled with my ability to
quickly connect with individuals and establish trusting relationships, position me to thrive in this challenging
role. My ability to work with autistic people, and people with learning disabilities will make me provide support
for the people in this category. Till this present time, I have worked with Fred Victor as a staff of Safe Staffing
Agency for a year, with Karis Disabilities Services as a Transitional Support Professional, Peer Trainer for
UNICEF Nigeria and worked as Educational Assistance in Toronto Schools Board as student on placement.
Kindly consider the following highlights of my qualifications:

● I am able to thrive in a challenging and high-pressure role as I worked in time past as a Youths and Family
Shelter Worker, assisting Youths and Families who have had difficulties as a result of problematic substance use
in accessing relevant support programs, navigating the legal system, and developing Individual Resiliency Plans.
● I am able to Perform initial client assessments, facilitating wrap-around services, coordinating resource team
meetings, and developing crisis plans. I am also familiar with the ABA techniques.
● I have completed a comprehensive training program in crisis intervention to advance and a Diploma in
Addiction And Recovery For Youths And Families and Community Service Work in Toronto International
Business College. I worked for 11 years in the court of Law, having knowledge on the Juvenile Court Systems. I
also have a certification in Leadership and Management in Health from the University Of Washington.

With my previous experiences and education, complemented by my keen interest in providing assistance to
clients with developmental disabilities, physical challenges, the deaf, blind or students experiencing social,
emotional or behavioral needs. I could swiftly surpass your expectations for this role. The opportunity to
discuss the position in further detail would be most welcome. Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,

Anuoluwapo Koleola
