Greetings of peace and prosperity!
We, the graduating students of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in
Mathematics at Bicol State College of Applied Sciences and Technology
An internationally
(BISCAST), are conducting a research entitled “Conversational Learning with
recognized smart Activity-Based Formative Assessment Method (Chat Learn with AFAM):
university for Enhancing Mathematics Learning and Resiliency.” The objective of this study

innovative education is to assess the effectiveness of our proposed teaching strategy wherein Chat Learn
with Afam is integrated.
MISSION
Produce technology- To gather data for our study, we need to assess the level of the Grade 9
competent,
students’ mathematics learning and resiliency using the SOLO Taxonomy. This will
environment-resilient,
culture-sensitive, and be gathered through a survey questionnaire and tests before and after the
industry-ready implementation of Chat Learn with AFAM. On the Chat Learn with AFAM or the
graduates who are
socially responsive instructional material itself, we are to teach the Grade 9 students mathematical
leaders imbued with topics based on the K to 12 curriculum. Chat learn will be integrated during the
character, work, and
personal values
discussion as the teaching strategy. On the other hand, AFAM will be integrated
through innovation when we, the implementers, provide engaging activities that would assess the
management, students’ understanding of the topic, different from the traditional pen-and-paper

education, test. For the successful implementation of this study, our target participants are the
cutting-edge Grade 9 students in the selected sections of Tinago National High School, Tinago,
research, and

Naga City. However, for us to be able to push through with our implementation, we

With this regard, we would like to ask for your permission to include your
student as one of the participants of the study in pilot testing the researcher-made
survey questionnaire, pretest and posttest, and instructional material, and
permit the use of data gathered from your student.
All information obtained in this study is strictly confidential and in
compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). Rest assured that all
data gathered will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and will not affect their
academic performance in their subject Mathematics.
