Responsibilities:

•Develop and implement HSE Management System for all the project
phases (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning up to
Mechanical Completion) in line with client’s HSE requirements.
•Develop and implement HSE Policies, Procedures, Method Statements,
Risk Assessments, Project HSE Plan, Emergency Response Plan, Waste
Management Plan, Fire Emergency Plan to meet site HSE requirements.

Group HSE Manager


Saudi German Hospitals Group UAE/Saudi Arabia October 2018 to
December 2021

Responsibilities:

•To ensure compliance of the occupational safety, health, environment,


fire safety and security at the Saudi German Hospitals and Clinics at UAE
and KSA in accordance to SGH Group HSE policy, UAE/KSA regulatory
authorities, and as per the requirement of local/ international HSE bodies
including MOH, JCI, ISO, OSHA, and NFPA.
•Annual and quarterly audits of the HSE and JCI(FMS) documentations in
each facility to ensure documents being updated as in-advance
preparation regarding the JCI re- certification audit.
•Responsible for the inspection and approvals from the UAE/KSA law

•Ensure that supervisors, operators and workers are carrying out their job
roles in compliance to National Paints group HSE policy, statutory law and
relevant International & local safety codes & standards.
•Coach & mentor National Paints Factories’ employees to make them
establish and maintain personnel safety to reduce risk and frequency of
(LTI) lost timework related injury.
•Conduct proactive measures at National Paints’ Sharjah and JAFZA
factories to protect factory workers and assets by carrying out regular risk
assessment, workplace audits, inspections, site safety surveys, toolbox talk

HSE Consultant & Trainer


FIREX UAE – UAE Civil Defense Project March 2013 to June 2014

This role involved me as a “contractor HSE Consultant and Trainer” working


for UAE Civil defense on behalf of FIREX UAE.

Responsibilities:

•Responsible for day-to-day inspection of firefighting systems, fire


suppression & detection system (active and passive) as per requirement of
UAE Civil Defense, UAE Fire & Life Safety code and NFPA 101.
•Inspect and assure functionality of Fire Alarms, Fire Panels, Fire
Extinguishers, AFFF/ARAFFF vessels, Sprinkler System, Emergency Lights,
Emergency Exit Routes, and Emergency Response Plans are on place as
per civil defense approved drawing at clients’ premises
•Prepare Pre-Inspection, Post-Inspection reports (IR) and submit it for further
approval from DCD office, identify non-conformities & firefighting system
flaws including safety violations to the client and re-inspect after
implementation of active fire safety measures.
•Deliver training to company employees of Ajman/RAK/Sharjah trade
license holders as per requirement of UAE Civil Defense for their license
renewal on a range of HSE/Firefighting topics.
•Arrange to conduct Fire Drills, Fire Safety Practical, Fire Extinguishers,
Rescue and evacuation practical for public safety at schools, hospitals,
FMCGs, warehouses etc.
•Procurement of training material such as Fire Extinguishers, PPEs, Fire

transportation, safe storage and use of material and substance.

•Coordinate with client and consultant and conduct safety walks on the
