Welding Inspector's Tragic End

An ultrasonic welding inspector at a steel plant was found dead inside a box column after being kidnapped by angry welders. The welders wrapped the inspector in pre-heat blankets, baked him at 1000 degrees Fahrenheit, and then welded him inside the column. Police are investigating the incident as a possible homicide and determining if charges should be filed, as there are currently no laws protecting welding inspectors. Witnesses reported that the inspector had rejected "one weld too many" from the welders. The coroner has been unable to determine the exact cause of death.
