• What you learned: For this assignment, I felt extremely comfortable creating a student
council election database using Google Forms. Google Forms is an application I am quite
familiar with. I currently work at a local middle school, and I use Google Forms to get
immediate answers when polling parents or students on campus. Google Forms is an
excellent resource that is free, and it allows me to better understand our parents' needs.
Something that I did learn from doing this assignment was attaching images to the
answers. That was something I haven’t done before but it is very useful for our visual
learners.

1.2.b Online Interactions. Students demonstrate empathetic, inclusive interactions online
and use technology to responsibly contribute to their communities.

• Application of Skills Learned for the Future: I believe in utilizing all the necessary
resources that are available to educators to make the lessons interactive. Google forms is
one of those resources. For example, Google forms can assist in collecting data for the
educator, communicating with students and time management. Some of the data
collecting skills can be creating polls for students to make lessons interactive,
communicating by knowing what the student’s think and time management by obtaining
quick results in the classroom.
