Introduction:
Presentation and teamwork skills is a very important skills not only in
university but also in life and future career. After finish my first semester
of the module, my group gave a presentation about the topic “School
Violence”, my group named “Six Stars” includes: Quế Anh, Mỹ Duyên,
Thùy Dương, Hữu Đức, Trung Hiếu, Quỳnh Giao. In this exercise , we will
evaluate each member and make an action plan to improve presentation
and teamwork skills in the future.
II. Self reflection
The main ideas of the essay is to relflect on strength and weekness of
each individual in the group.
1. Chương Trung Hiếu
Responsible for the opening of the presentation. Did a very goodjob on
providing a comfortable and professional opening. Has good vocabulary
skills and create such a wonderful atmosphere for everyone.
When working in a group provide good information and pretty
interesting ideas. But has a little problem when pronunciating some words
2. Nguyễn Huỳnh Giao
Present the problem that manifest with school violence. Has good ideas
of what to say and what is the main ideas of the subject.
Need to work on the presentation skills and need to speak more loudly.
Should be more relax when presenting, try to using more body language
into the process of speaking.
3. Mai Hà Quế Anh
Presenting the statistic of school violence. Has good pronunciation skills
and use good body language when presenting.
When facing the statistic handle them in a professional ways. Beside
strong point, weekness such as volume need to be louder for listener to
hear more clearly.
4. Trần Thị Thuỳ Dương (29)
Presenting part about concequenses of school violence. Overall did a
goodjob on what to say and how to give out information in a specific ways
Is very active but a little shy when presenting and need to practice
pronunciating word more clearly. Also need to put more of own personality
in to the presentation and use more body language.
5. Nguyễn Phạm Mỹ Duyên
Presenting about addressing some of the solution to solve school
violence. Did a good job of exercuting and lay out clear information for
listener to understand.
Need to be more clearer when presenting and need to interact more
with the audience.
6. Phạm Hồ Hữu Đức
Presenting the summary about school problem. Put out good summary
about the problem, has good body language.
Need to be more confident when answering the question of the
audience.
III. Action plan and future group work.
As a group, after completing many exercises and presentations, we
realized many things that we need to change, so we made an action plan
to improve presentation and teamwork skills in the future. For teamwork
skills. Firstly, we think we need to communicate more, which reduces the
distance between members and increase teamwork efficiency. And always
ask and give constructive feedback, a good teamwork is when members
always have good constructive statements, as the proverb says “One
swallow does not make a summer”. Must always clearly know the
strengths of each member to exploit each person’s potential.
And for presentation skills, we need to practice presentation public as
much as possible, we will also use body languages and eye contact more
when presenting. And with slides, keep it simple and little text as possible.
We will spend free time practicing presentations everyday. Always
remember “Practise, practise, practise!”
IV. Conclusion
In general, teamwork is an important skill that needs to be developed in
the modern workplace. By practicing teamwork skills, each individual can
contribute more effectively to their work and achieve career success.
