Remedial Work
1. Put the verbs between brackets into the suggested tense:
- She is sewing a customized mask now.
- They played cricket at school last week.

NB:
1. We use the past simple to talk about an action that happened and finished in the past.
Form: verb stem + ed (regular verbs)
Irregular verbs change completely.
2. We use the past perfect when we have two actions that follow each other.
First action (past simple), second action (past perfect).
Form: had + past participle of the verb.
3. We use the past continuous to talk about an action that happened in the past and continued for a period of time in the
past. We generally use it when we tell a story and we want to describe actions happened in the past.
Form: auxiliary “to be” in the past simple + ing form of the verb.
(To be in the past: I was, you were, he/she/it was, we were, they were)
4. We use the present simpke to talk about everyday habits and general truths.
Form: verb stem (with: I, you, we , they)

5. We use the present perfect to talk about an action that happened in the past but its consequences continued up to now.
Form: Has + past participle of the verb (with: he, she, it)

6. We use the present continuous to talk about actions that happen at the moment of speech.
Form: : auxiliary “to be” in the present simple + ing form of the verb.
(To be in the present: I am, you are, he/she/it is; we are, they are)
7. We use the future simple to talk about a possible action in the future.
Form: will + verb stem.
