Others believe that we should try to cooperate more, rather than competing against each
other.

Some people claim that competition at workplace, at educational institutions and generally
in everyday life has many benefits. Meanwhile, other portion of society have a firm opinion
that people should try to work together instead of making every effort to surpass
colleagues. There are many advantages as well as disadvantages; however, I firmly opine
that establishing good relationship is better.
On the one hand, rivalry is good for improvement of many walks and aspects of life.
Because, competition is based on desire to be better than others, hence it forces individuals
to work harder and make every effort to improve personal skills. For instance, employees
want career advancement; in order to achieve their goals, they try to distinguish themselves
by working much harder. As a result, they bring many benefits to corporation such as an
increase in income.
On the other hand, cooperation in team lead to much higher opportunities. Individual is
not able to deal with all responsibilities on their own and in the wake of this they face many
problems as stress, fatigue or even health issues. While teamwork is based on splitting
duties: everyone has liability to their own portion. Therefore, every part of work is
completed thoroughly, leading to big benefits to company.
In conclusion, rivalry has advantages like improving personal abilities and career growth;
nevertheless, there are many disadvantages: stress, health issues and bad impact on
psychology. Cooperation between colleagues lead to balanced work conditions and better
ultimate result. Based all these factors, I have an opinion that working as a team is much
better.
