"Good morning esteemed members of the thesis defense panel and fellow

colleagues.
My name is [Your Full Name], Today, we are excited to present my research on
[Modifying the Implemented Queuing System for Water Bill Payment in La
Trinidad Water District Applying Monte Carlo Simulation”],
which investigates [Queuing System for Water Bill Payment].
Throughout our study, we aimed to
(1) identify the different factors affecting the long queueing lines.
(2) To analyze and evaluate the current queuing system implemented by
the local water utility.
(3) To provide a sample procedure that depicts a more efficient queuing
system that will serve as a conceptual implementation of the proposed
queuing system.

BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

Today, providing excellent service is crucial for any organization to succeed.
This is especially true for government agencies, which serve a large and diverse
population. One key aspect of excellent service is efficient queuing
management, which can make all the difference in customer satisfaction, as it
reflects how well a company or organization meets the demands of its
customers. This is especially important for government agencies, which are
responsible for providing services to the public.
Effective queue management plays a significant role in customer satisfaction.
Long queues and waiting times can negatively impact customer satisfaction,
which is why organizations like the LTWD implement queuing systems to
manage these issues.
Unfortunately, long queues and waiting times are a common problem in the La
Trinidad Water District during peak periods, causing inconvenience to
customers. To address this, our study aims to modify the implemented queuing
system in the LTWD by applying the Monte Carlo simulation to provide better
service to its customers.
Our study will contribute to the existing body of knowledge on queuing systems
and Monte Carlo simulation by focusing on its application in the water bill
payment process of a specific water district. The results of the study can provide
valuable recommendations for the LTWD and other water utilities facing similar
challenges in their payment systems.
METHODOLOGY
The research methodology employed in this study is designed to evaluate the
current queuing system of the La Trinidad Water District and compare it to a
proposed queuing system. The study employs a descriptive-comparative
research design, which is appropriate for identifying bottlenecks in the current
system and providing modifications to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
