EPISODE 15
ACTIVITY 15.1
ANALYZE
1. Actual teaching, the teacher is learner-centered. The teacher acts as facilitator of learning, shows
mastery of the subject matter, sees to it that learning outcomes are achieved, shows fairness, is
pleasant and embraces diversity of learners.
2. I think all of the behaviors she exhibited are worthy to emulate. When I become a teacher, I plan to
instill those qualities on myself because those are the qualities that a teacher must possess. I know it
will aid me in improving my teaching and professional skills.
3. She has a hard time complying with administrative work, based in what I have observed. It is
difficult for her because she doesn’t know how to manage her time. She devotes a significant amount
of time in studying and master the subject matter. She has flaws in her abilities to complete
administrative tasks.
4. For me, I consider her as a quality teacher. Though I am aware that she has difficulty with
administrative tasks, I believe she can improve and learn to manage her time. With respect to other
requirements to become a fulfilled teacher, a quality teacher is someone who also truly cares about
their students and lets them know they are valued. They are accepting, warm and empathetic towards
their students' thoughts and feelings and I think she demonstrates a quality teacher despite flaws and
imperfections.
REFLECT
1. Yes because I see myself to her. The strong drive to constructively improve my skills and my
methods inspires me to develop as a teacher. Observing a teacher in the teaching field really is a
privilege and enough reason to inspire me to become a teacher as well. In a challenging world where
change is constant, teaching children is a huge responsibility in teaching profession. But as I have
observed, I knew teaching isn’t easy but with determination and a striving heart, I will surely claim
the spot to become a LPT.
2. Through training, seminars, and workshops, I will improve and become better as a professional
teacher. I will keep growing and not just settle for less. Being a professional teacher also means
conducting yourself according to the highest standards, giving your best effort inside and outside the
classroom, and building relationships based on mutual respect.
3. (1) Lack of time for planning- the situation is more challenging today. They will have to handle
multiple roles in the classroom, updating the subject to new demands, connecting materials, content
presentation, managing activities, assessing the students, and bringing in innovative and creative
approaches to meet the present educational trends are a few among them. Preparing, planning, and
executing tasks expected out of me add a lot of pressure and the lack of time troubles me in the future.
But yes, I am ready to address this concern before I head towards the teaching field.
(2) Tons of workloads- I knew there are a lot of paper works that a teacher must finish and submit. As
a quality teacher, you just don’t handle everything inside the classroom or just teaching in front of the
students. Behind that, teachers have a lot of work to do and meeting it before deadlines rushes the
adrenaline out of them. But now, I get myself ready for that concern because it’s inevitable and to
solve that we just have to manage our time and stay on track like having a list of the works to do in
order for us to be organized as possible and assures that no tasks will be missed.
4. I will send her a token of appreciation for her undeniably awesome job to teach bunch of children
with different attitudes, behaviors, and characteristics. I am aware of how hard their job is, that is why
they deserve a hug- to appreciate and congratulate for doing what they love and that is teaching.

they’re my favorite with light colors that are matched
with my personality. It should

REFLECT
As we can notice traditional classroom cannot longer satisfy the needs of education in the 21st-
century. So we have to make radical changes in order to create the classroom that will motivate
students to learn. Teachers today teach using different pedagogical approaches and various
instructional methods. According to fact that our educational system is changed with the help of
technology the 21st -century classroom should be a productive environment where students can
develop the skills they will need in workplace.
The modern 21st-century classrooms should encourage students to develop their high order thinking
skills. The new classroom should be equipped with modern technology which will help students to
meet new goals. The 21st-century classroom should be more centered on students. Teachers are
expected to be facilitators of learning process instead of being mere providers of knowledge. We
should pay attention to classrooms for young learners it should be a place where they feel cared and
safe. It should be a great place to be, beautiful place and creative environment. Teachers have to use
different pedagogical approaches. They should participate actively in their learning and to assist
professional development.
In my 21st century classroom, I will also promote collaborative environment where it encourages
students to be creative and support each other as they work through problems; provide students with
hands-on activities where they experiences learning first hand. I will also integrate inquiry-based
lessons and provide strong reasoning to develop their HOTS.
