ACTIVITY 7.
ANALYZE
1. How does the voice of the teacher affect classroom instruction?
Some students are more interested in listening when the speaker has a loud, powerful voice because a
teacher with a loud voice can capture the attention of the students, making learning more lively and
less boring. When it comes to effective teaching, the teacher's voice is extremely important. Some
students will become bored if the teacher has a very low voice, which will make the classroom feel
sleepy, and this will have an impact on the students' performance in class as well as their
achievement.
2. Now does the functionality of the teacher affect classroom dssopline?
The teacher is a facilitator of learning, and she was the one who gave the authority to enforce
classroom rules and regulations. The way a teacher implements rules and assigns punishment or
rewards has a significant impact on how well students follow those rules and regulations.
3. Why do we need to check on the physical aspects of classroom management?
The design and layout of the classroom has a significant impact on the teaching-learning process.
Because it was free of noise and distractions, a peaceful classroom had the best chance of producing
effective teaching and learning. Students are also motivated to learn if the classroom promotes a
positive learning environment, and it can boost their confidence to learn more if there are designs,
pictures, or quotes from famous philosophers in the classroom.
REFLECT
1. What does this statement mean to you as a future teacher? Explain. “No amount of good instruction
will come out without effective classroom management.”
This phrase aims to convey the idea that, in order to achieve a good instructional outcome, we must
prioritize classroom management, as it plays a critical role in the teaching and learning process.
Students will be more motivated to learn if the classroom is well-managed. There will be many factors
that can affect classroom instructions if there isn't good classroom management.
2. What are your plans in ensuring effective classroom management?
To ensure effective classroom management, I will allow my students to participate in the formulation
of classroom rules and regulations so that they are aware of them and will undoubtedly follow them
because they have also agreed to them. I will not only be a commander of rules, but also a role model
for them.
ACTVITY 7.2
ANALYZE
1. How many strategies were employed by the Resource Teacher? Did this contribute to better
classroom management? Explain your answer.
The Resource Teacher used all of the strategies, and they helped to improve classroom management
because the Resource Teacher did her job of assisting students in learning effectively. I have also
items that I had no opportunity to observe but that doesn’t mean it haven’t contribute to better
classroom management.
2. What were not used by the resource teacher? Where is this important? What should have been used
instead? Explain.
All strategies had been employed. There are just items that I had no opportunity to observe due to
some factors. But overall, observed strategies outnumbered those that are not observed.
REFLECT
What classroom management strategies do I need to employ to respond to diverse types of learners?
To respond diverse types of learners, there is a need to get to know our students individually, we
should know their strengths, weaknesses, interests to discover their talents and potential. As teachers
we should also maintain consistent communication with our students, promote respect to everyone, be
a role model to practice cultural sensitivity, and incorporate group activities to showcase one’s talents
and skills.
