2. Answer any five of the following

3. Answer any five of the following
(i) Find the magnetic field at a point on the axis of a circular coil carrying current.
(ii) An electron is moving with a velocity (3 i^ +3 ^j ) ms-1 in an electric field intensity (3i^ +6 ^j +2k) and
magnetic field (2i^ +3 ^j ) tesla. Obtain an expression for the force. What is its magnitude?
(iii) Conversion of Galvanometer to ammeter?
(iv) A rectangular coil of sides “l ” and “b ” carrying a current I is subjected to a uniform magnetic field
⃗B acting perpendicular to its place. Obtain the expression for the torque acting on it.
(v) Two long straight parallel conductor carry steady current I 1 and I2 separated by a distance r. If the
current are flowing in the same direction show how the magnetic field set up in one produces an
attractive force on the other. Obtain the expression for this force.
(vi) A square coil of the side 10cm consist of 20 turns and carries a current of 12A the coil is
suspended vertically and normal to the place of the coil & normal to the place of the coil & makes an
angle of 300 with the direction of uniform horizontal magnetic field of magnitude 0.80 Tesla. The
Magnitude of torque experience by the coil is __________________ .
