There are many towns and cities designed and constructed in previous centuries, and they are
suitable for those times. What problem is caused by this today? How to solve this problem?

1.安全问题，那个时候使用木材居多，因为木材更容易获取，更适合当时的成本，而且当
时的楼层不需要太高。但是现在对居住环境要求高，而且需要安装电线等等，会有安全
隐患。
2.现在的城镇居住空间有限，which means可能会有更高的房租和房价。因为在两三百年
前，当时的工艺和住房需求导致房屋都是矮小的，然而人口爆发式的增长和城镇化的现
象，这些低矮的房屋是没有办法满足这些人口的涌入的，因此城市拥挤不堪。
