Do you think singing can bring happiness to people?
Most of the time, yeah, singing can put people in a better mood. For me personally, I really
like to sing and I might belt out some songs no matter where I am, and I usually feel pretty
happy.
But occasionally, if something bad has happened to me, like ... um,my partner has just
broken up with me, and then I sing a sad song, I will definitely be sadder.
Does it rain much in your city?
It depends on the season. In the summertime, it rains quite a lot, like a few times a week,
and sometimes, it might rain for days on end.
whereas in spring, autumn and winter, it doesn't rain much. In fact, it's extremely dry in
spring, which I really hate.
What do you do on your days off?
It depends on how many days off I have. if i only have one or two days off, i'll just choose to
stay home to do some reading or catch up on some shows that i missed, whereas if it's more
than five days, i will go travelling somewhere.especially a seaside city because i love
beaches and swimming in the sea.
Do you like living in your hometown?
um, generally, yeah, i do like my hometown, and i particularly like the food here, which is
absolutely delicious. For example, the rice noodles are amazing and I eat them every day.
However, here's one thing that I don't like, which is the fact that the average wages here are
relatively low. Yeah, there are not that many good job opportunities.

no, definitely not. it's extremely hard to focus in a noisy place

Well, because this is hard to explain, I mean, it's just difficult to concentrate.... , like ... for
example, if you're trying to study in a bar where everybody else is talking loudly and there's
also music playing, I don't suppose you can study at all.
Do you like weekends?
yeah, absolutely. I love weekends because I can do some relaxing things like swimming,
shopping, hiking and so on.
Why are these things relaxing?
why? um ... well, so i really love hiking and i particularly like to hike in mountains. Whenever
I'm walking in a mountain and I'm surrounded by trees and flowers, I do feel very relaxed.
But um, the reason for that? I really have no idea.
Do you know many small businesses?
yeah, i know a lot, like some restaurants near my home, and a bookstore and a coffee shop.
Why do you know these businesses?
because they're close to my apartment and I just often walk past them or sometimes I go to
one of these places. like um just yesterday, i went to this bookstore and bought a book called
what money can't buy. I'm going to read this book later today.
