HOBBIES
1. What kind of music do you listen to?
 I really love listening to ballad music, because it has a soothing tone and
it makes me feel relaxed.
2. Do you play any musical instrument?
 I really want to play some musical instrument, but I don know how to
play it well because I find it takes a lot of time to practise.
3. Do you like watching TV? What is your favorite TV programme?
 I love watching TV and I usually what movies, news or some
entertainment programs on TV. My favourite TV program is “Running
Man” because it’s very humorous and gives me a lot of life skills.
4. Do you do any sport or exercise? What?
 Yes of course, I really like sports. I often play badminton with my
friends. I’be known how to play badminton since I studied at primary
school and now I still have passion for it.
5. What books or magazines do you read?
 In my free time, besides listening to music or watching TV, I also read
books. I like reading the book “How to influence people”, because it
teaches me many lessons about being human.

FAMILY
1. Do you come from a large or small family?
 No, in fact, I come from a nuclear family, which one generation in
family lives together.
2. How many people are there in your family?
 My family has five people: my father, my mother, my sister, my
grandchild and me. My family is very happy and everyone always loves
each other.

 I have one elder sister. She is a worker in a company which is related to

4. Do you live with your parents?
 If you don’t know, I come from Ha Tinh province. Before going to
university, I used to live with my parents. But now, when I become a
student of Hanoi University of Education, I have to live far away from
them.

FRIENDS
1. Do you have many friends or just a few close friends?
 There are a few friends that I haven’t seen in a while, but we still keep
in touch with each other by phone.
2. What do you and your friends usually do at weekends?
 My friends and I usually go out to eat and watch movies on the
weekend. We also confide in each other about a lot of stories. Thank to
that, our friendship become closer.
3. Do you prefer to spend your free time alone or with friends?
 I prefer to spend my freetime with my friends, because it’s always
someone who can talk to me or confide in me.
4. Is friendship important?
 Yes of course, In my view, friendship is very important. Friends help us
have motivation to overcome challenges. They are also people who share
our hobbies and sorrow with us.
HOLIDAYS
1. Do you like travelling?
 Yes. Travelling helps me discover new things and widen my knowledge,
so I like travelling.
2. Do you prefer to go to the beach or the mountain when you go on holiday?
 I prefer to go to the mountain. Because I live by the sea, I want to try
something new. Furthermore, I find climbing helps me exercise and
gives me a feeling of freshness.
3. Do you prefer to travel alone or in a group? Why?
 Well, I prefer to travel with a group of friends or with my family. On
top of that, there’s always someone who can share stories with me and
 take a lot of beautiful photos of me. More than, travelling within a
group is safer.
4. Do you prefer to travel by train, bus, plane or ship?
 If I can travel somewhere, I prefer to travel by bus because it is very
cheap and now, buses are very popular.
TAKING PHOTOS

1. Do you like taking photos?

 Yes, of course. I’m interested in taking photos. Because it is great fun
and it helps me remember the good times I had.
2. Do you prefer to take photos of people or of scenery?
 I really like the beautiful scenes of Vietnam and I want to preserve these
beauties, so I prefer to take photos of scenery.
3. When do you often take photos?
 Yeah, I often take photos when I see beautiful scenery or when I go out
somewhere. I also take photos when I take part in someone’s birthday
or important occasion.
4. Do you have any photos in your bedroom or living room?
 Yes, I have some photos in my bedroom. Those are my photos with my
family, my classmate. That day, we went to Hoa Binh. There were many
beautiful scenery so I take a lot of photos to keep memory.

MUSIC
1. Do you like listening to music?
 Yes, I really love listening to music, it helps me relax and gives me more
fun.

 I usually listen to ballad music because it gives me a comfortable feeling

 My favorite singer is Khởi My. On top of that, she is very cute and her
voice is very sweet.

play it well because I find it takes a lot of time to practise.

 If possible, I would like t learn guitar. But I think it’s difficult to learn.

FOOD
1. What is your favorite food or drinks?
 I really love a lot of food. One of my favourite food is fried egg.
2. Can you cook well?
 Yes, I can cook well. At home, I often cook with my elder sister and
everyone in my family commented that it was yummy.
3. Do you often eat out?
 I rarely eat out because I think the food outside is delicious but not
clean. Only I am very tired, I eat outside because I don’t want to cook.
4. What is your favorite restaurant?
 My favourite restaurant is KFC. Because it is very famous and the food
in here is really great.

TRANSPORT
1. How do you go to school?
 I go to school by bus everyday but sometimes, I think I am late for
school so I go to school by motorbike.
2. How long does it take you to go to school?
 I live near the school, so it only takes me about 5 to 10 minutes to go to
school.
3. Do you often use public transport?
 Yes, I often take a bus to go everywhere because it is cheap and the bus
is very popular in my city
4. Is it easy to travel in your city?
 I think it is hard to travel in my city because my city has too many
vehicles, so there has traffic jam.
5. What should people do to reduce traffic jam and air pollution?
 People should use more public transport, teach children about how to
prevent pollution and grow more trees.
