I think these reasons make me choose/ like.

5,GAMES AND SPORTS

- Which indoor games do you play regularly?
I’m play Snakes and Ladders. with my friend. It was fun and bittersweet. It felt like I
was about to win but the snake ate me and I started again. And when I won, I felt like
the joy doubled.
- Which indoor games are common in your country?
Blind man’s buff,; Hopscotch; etc. But my country they also play uno, chess, table
tennis…
- Do you take part in any outdoor sports regularly?
Yes, I do. I play badmintion with my friend. Every Sunday I and she play together. It
makes me felt healthy after playing.
- Do you like watching any outdoor sports, live or on TV?
Yeah, I watch baseketball on TV. It’s great, when I watch them get a ball and put in
the basket and score a close score. It makes me interesting
- Which game or sport do you dislike? Why?
I didn’t like swimming, b/c I don’t know swim. I used to swim from grade 8 to grade
11 but I still can’t swim. I gave up

- How much time do you spend reading?
I can read all day with the book is my favourite. With a book that isn’t my hooby I
only read 30 minutes at most
- Do you read newspaper regularly? Why /Why not?
No I don’t. I don;’t read newpaper, the newspaper always talk about politics, civil,..
It’s very boring. I only read newpaper related to my major.
- What kind of magazines do you like reading? Why?
I like fashion magazine. It's lively and not boring, It focuses on the clothes the
models wear. The clothes is very beautiful I like
- What kind of books do you like reading? Why?
I like horror book or comedy book. With comedy book is very fun, It make me don’t
boring. I can read comedy book all day.
- Describe a book that you particularly enjoyed. What was good about it?
Do you know The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and
Disappeared .
I like that book. Because it makes me more optimistic and love life more

HABITS AND ROUTINES
- What happens on a typical day for you?
In the morning, I go to school if I have schedule. At noon, I can stay at school if I
study all day that day. Otherwise I will go to home. And I cook meal for that day. In
the evening, I will study tomorrow’s subject.
- Describe a journey that you often make.
Every Saturday I always go to the coffe with my friend. We will be at the coffe at 9
o’clock. I will wake up at 7 and I get ready to go out.
- What do you usually do at weekends/ in your free time?
In my freetime, I usually play game or read novel. It make me felt comfortable after a
day’s study and work
- What do you usually do/eat at mealtimes?
I usually cook rice and fry fish or braished fish. My family eat more fish than more
meat.
- Do you have any habits that may annoy other people? What is it?
Yeah I do. I can talk a lot if I’m excited. And when I’m talkative make annoy people.
My mother talked me about this but I can’t fix

PERSONAL EXPERIENCES
- Who are the most important people in your life?
I think it is my mother. because my character as the same as her character. She
taught me to be a good person.
- Do you and your friends share the same hobbies?
Yes, we do. I and my friend both like reading comics and novels. We alway read
and share comics and novels we like.
- Tell me about your best friend.
She and I grew up together. I met her when I was 5 so we have similar interests/
same hobiies. If I'm tired or feeling bad, she's always there for me. Even though we go
to different universities, we see each other/ meet at least once a month.
- What's the most exciting thing you've ever done?
My friends and I went on a long trip and came back in one day. We rode
motorbikes to the next city about 200 km. Because the trip back was in one day, it
was tiring but also very interesting.
- What's your favourite day of the week? Why?
I like Saturday because I don't work, don't study. I can sleep until noon, I read
novel all day. And when Saturday ends, tomorrow is Sunday. So I need not think
about anything.

HOLIDAYS AND TRAVEL
- Do you have to travel a long way to get to school/work?
No, I do. It's about 6 km from my house to school. I drive my motorbike for about
15 minutes if there is no traffic jam.
- What area of your country would you recommend to tourists?
I recommend you to go to Ho Chi Minh city. Because the people here are very
friendly. There are many places to play games, shop. You can eat all the specialties
from many different regions/ area
- What form of transport do you use most frequently?
I usually ride a motorbike to school and work. It's easy to use and saves time. If I
want to go somewhere, I don't need to book a Grab or wait for a bus. I just ride a
motorbike.
- What items do you often bring with you when you travel?
Of course I brought money. If you have money, you can buy all the things you want,
the things you don't have. And I brought clothes, jewelry and medicine.
- Have you ever used your English while on holiday?
No, I never have. I speak English very badly. And I am shy when speaking English.

JOBS AND CAREERS
- What kind of job would you like to have in the future?
I am studying accounting, in the future I want to work related to accounting
- Will it be easy/ difficult for you to get that job? Why?
I think it will be difficult for me to get an accounting job. There are many people
studying accounting so there is a lot of competition. I think it is difficult to get a good
job with a high salary. But it is easy to get a normal job. A country with many
businesses needs many accountants. I think it is easy to get an accounting job.
- What kind of jobs and careers do young people in your country want to have?
I think everyone wants to have a job they love with a high salary, friendly
colleagues and good conditions for promotion.
And the fact is that I see a lot of people always looking for a high-paying job. They
don't care about what that job will do.
- Which job would you really not want to do? Why?
This is my major, I am studying Accounting. This job is very boring and when I go
to work, I am afraid I will go to jail.
- Which jobs do you think are particularly easy to do and which are very difficult?

I think no job is easy or very difficult. If we work smart or like the job we are doing
then it is easy. If we are lazy or do not work then it is difficult even though the job is
easy.

12. EDUCATION AND WORK

- In your opinion, which subject is the easiest to learn? Why?
I think the math, I study it is easy. When you know formula, and reasoning, you
can study it
- How often do you use the Internet to study?
I use the internet to looking the book involve my major or my lesson. And on the
internet I can find the review lesson to do
- Have you got any future plans after finishing university?
Of course, I will go to work related to my major. And I will go to study a new
language to up in my work
- What would be your ideal job? Why?
 I like my major I'm studying. It's accounting job. I like the number and I work with
invoices, and when I read the financial reporting I know the number what it say I like
it
- What new skill would you like to learn? Why?
I want to learn a new language, because I can work for a foreign company, it helps
me to get promoted in my job with high salary.

8. YOUR COUNTRY
- What is the weather usually like in your country?
My country don't have four season, have only two that hot dry or rain. But there are
some areas with cool weather like Da Lat, Sa Pa or the highlands.
- What kind of work do people in your country typically do?
In the past, the people used to work farm because the weather in my country
suitable for farming . Now, many people work industry, or work in business cause my
country develop than before
- What kind of things do people talk about in your country?
People in my country talk about many stories. But if one day there is a popular
scandal about a famous person, one day and the next day almost everyone is talking
about it.
- What is the difference between life in cities and life in the countryside in your
country?
There are many differences between the countryside and the city. The most typical
is the peaceful atmosphere in the countryside, which is different from the city. The
city is noisy with motorbikes, cars and motorbike exhaust or more traffic than the
countryside, which pollutes the air.
- Would you prefer to live in your own country or in another country? Why?
I like my country so I choose to live in my country. Because people are friendly.
There is a lot of mutual help, I like this, in other countries there is not

15. EATING AND DRINKING

- What is your favourite food/ drink?
I like eat spicy noodles though I can't eat spicy. eat spicy noodles with drink coke it is
very delicious.
- What do you have for breakfast?
I always eat bread on breakfast. I can eat pate with egg bread 3 days a row. The bread
is crispy with pate and egg I couldn't' resist
- Which is more important for you, lunch or dinner?
I always eat lunch. I may or may not eat dinner. The doctor usually say the dinner you
should eat less lunch and breakfast. So dinner I usually eat little fruit
- Do you ever buy take-away food? How good is it?
Yes I have. There are day, I'm lazy and I want not to cook so I buy take food.
Because I often eat out food so I know the food shop is good or not good. It's good, its
taste suitable for me, and save times when I'm lazy
- Have you been to a restaurant lately? Tell us about it
I went to this restaurant a week ago. I went there with my friend to celebrate his
birthday. Although the restaurant is big, the food is not delicious. The taste is so bad
that my friend and I could not eat any dish of the restaurant.

PART 2 : SOLUTION DISCUSSION

1. Which do you think is the most entertaining or relaxing way of spending your free
time:
going to the beach, going shopping, or going to the cinema

I choose to go to the beach. First of all, I like the sea, and secondly, when I see the
waves, it makes me feel calm and not think about anything.

If I were rich, I might choose to go shopping, because I can buy them without seeing
the price. But I am an ordinary person, I want to but I can't buy them because the
price is expensive, I don't like it.

I don't like watching movies, so I won't choose to go to the movies. I used to go to the
cinema to relax after a day's work. But I watched a boring movie, which made me feel
more tired. That's why I don't like going to the movies.

7.Which of these things would you most like to have in your room: a guitar, a
laptop, or an air-conditioner?

Out of those three options, I choose laptop. It is useful, it helps me work or study.
And when I am bored, I can play games or watch movies on laptop.

Although guitar is very interesting, I don't know how to play guitar. In my family, the
only one who plays guitar is my father. And I prefer to see my father play guitar.

And I don't choose air conditioner because I can use fan. Air conditioner will make
the earth hotter so I don't like it.

5.Your foreign friend is considering visiting one of the following places in Vietnam:
Ha Noi, Hue and Ho Chi Minh City. Which would you recommend to him/her?

I recommend you go to HCM city. I see the people here are very friendly. If you want
a place to play or shop you should choose HCM City. There is many place of play
game or shopping mall.

Hanoi is a traditional place. Go there to learn about the national culture rather than to
play.Hue is the same. If you like learn about historical VietNam, you go to Ha Noi or
Hue.

2. Which of the following TV programmes is the best choice for you: talent shows,
comedy series, or sports programmes?
Of course I choose comedy series. After work and study day, I'm tired so I will
watch the comedy series, it help me feel comfortable and fun.
Although The talent shows or the sports programmes is good but I like entainment
than the skill shows. And I don't know about sports so I don't watch cause I don't
understand

3. Which would be the best place to live for a family with children: a village, a small
town, or a city centre?
I chose a small town. Because if my family and I lived in a village that was not
modern, there were no convenience stores, things I like. If I lived in the city center, I
would have everything I needed but the atmosphere would be noisy, there would be a
lot of traffic, always stuck in traffic. I don't like that. I want a peaceful, quiet
atmosphere, there would be things I wanted like when my family was sick, I would
need a normal hospital but with all the necessary equipment, etc., so I chose a small
town.

9. A group of college students is planning a three-day trip to Nha Trang. Three means
of transport are suggested: by train, by plane, and by coach. Which means of
transport do you think is the best choice?

Of course I choose the coach. Because the price is suitable for students and it is not
fast nor slow. It will definitely be on time
The plane price is very expensive for students. And it can delay the trip. I have taken
a plane before and that day I waited for 3 hours very tired.
And the train is more expensive than the bus and very slow compared to the coach
and the plane. It’s waste time

8. A friend of yours has decided to enroll for evening classes. There are
some suggestions for classes on offer: hairdressing, photography and cooking.
Which one do you think is the most useful for him/her?

I think you should

10. A group of high school students is considering the following places to visit: an art
gallery, a history museum and a theater. Which do you think is the most beneficial
for them?

A group of high school students I think we suitable for a history museum. Because
they can learn about history of the country. And they can understand about their
country by look the picture or model.

If they go to an art gallery, they can see the picture in there but they don't understand
or feel the meaning of the picture. And a theater is not suitable the high school
student, it make they are not as interested as an art gallery or history museum

4. Your friend is between his/her mind about choosing one of these sports:
swimming,
football and tennis? Which do you think is the best for him/her?

I think swimming is the best option for her. Swimming is a great way to stay active
and healthy. It can be great for relaxing and de- stress.
football and tennis are great too but they are not suitable for her. They make her
calves bigger and running more will be more stressful than swimming.
