AESOP Advertising Company is one of the largest and biggest advertising company in the
Philippines. It is well-known for its amazingly incomparable service and numerous successful
advertising projects. Just like any other business, this company also experienced problems and
faced a number of challenges and struggles, but because of their best management they were
always able to surpass it all and bounce back from the losses.
By the end of 2021, a heartbreaking news spread that the manager who's been with the
company for 50 years will resign for retirement reasons. Everyone was saddened, because for
the record he's been the best project manager AESOP has, who thinks, not only himself but
also listens and respects everyone regardless of the position.
Scene 01: Fast Forward at AESOP'S ADVERTISING COMPANY☀️
3rd of January 2022, AESOP Advertising Company welcome the new manager...
AESOP'S CEO: Good Morning! I know that you're all aware why we are here today. I am
immensely dignified and honored to welcome and introduce the new project manager of AESOP
ADVERTISING COMPANY, she's a graduate of Harvard Business School with a degree of
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management with Latin
honors . Got her master's degree at the same university also. She's been working for one of the
biggest Advertising Company in the US. Fortunately, she decided to go back here in the
Philippines to continue her career because she believes that success is incomparable if you're
with your loved ones and your home country. Everyone, let's all give a hand to Ms. Agatha
Witchwood.
Agatha(Adel): Thank you so much Mrs. Franklin for the warm welcome. I appreciate the short
background of mine. To be honest my job in the US is really matchless not to mention the
salary is more than great! However I also have family here that I need to consider. Enough
about me, I am excited to work in this company. I did my research and so far I am totally
impressed with what I read and heard. I can't wait to share my knowledge and expertise in this
field as well as all the learnings I've gotten from the prestigious university I studied. I am looking
forward to an obedient and hardworking team! Thank you.

Agatha: Oh yeah! I'm ready to see my office.
Scene 02:At AESOP'S, they received a call from the most loyal client.
(Telephone Ringing)
Mary(Blanche): Good Afternoon, this is Mary from AESOP'S ADVERTISING how may I help
you?
Rose: Hi! This is Rose from Clean First Cleaning Company. I called to schedule a meeting so
we can talk about a new project.
Mary: Oh yes, absolutely. When's gonna be the most convenient time for you to come to our
office?
Rose: How about Thursday, 9:30AM?
Mary: That would be perfect! We'll be expecting you by Thursday then? Do you have any
concerns or questions that I have to note so we can prepare ahead ?
Rose: No ,Mary. I think that's it for now, we'll contact you if we need anything. Looking forward
to seeing you this Thursday.
Mary: Likewise Ms. Rose . We appreciate you calling us. Have a good day!
Rose: Have a great day too. bye!
Scene 03:Meeting with Clean First Cleaning Company☀️
Mary: Good Morning Ms. Roberts and to you Rose. It's good to see you.
Stacey: Good Morning Mary.
Rose: Hi Mary.
They already know each other since Mary's been with the company for quite a while now.
Mary: . Since our new manager isn't here yet, let me walk you to the office.
(At the office)
*Staff stand when Ms. Roberts entered the room*
Mary: Ms. Roberts, I would love to introduce to you our new advertising staff,here is Klarisse
and April. They are new here. Everyone, this is Ms. Stacey Roberts the manager of Clean First
Cleaning Company,the largest client of Aesop, that we'll be working with; with her is her
assistant Rose.
(Shake hands)
Staff#2.We are glad to meet you Ms. Roberts, and to you Rose.
Staff#1: We're excited to work with you.
Staff#2: Please take your seat.
Stacey: Thank you. Heard about the new manager. I'm looking forward to meeting her as well
as working with her.
Mary: Our apology, Ms. Roberts, but our manager isn't here yet. However I'm sure she's on her
way . She'll be joining us in this meeting.
Stacey: Oh okay!
Mary: While we wait for her , may I get you a cup of coffee? tea or water?
Stacey: Water is fine. Thank you!
Rose: Same for me Mary. Thank you!
The meeting will supposedly start 9:30, and it's 9:20am however the manager of AESOP's
Advertising isn't around yet.
(In a separate room where Mary is getting the water, Staff 2 and 1 followed her)
Staff#2(Klarisse): Hey Mary! Do you have any idea where Agatha is? It's almost time and she's
nowhere to be seen.
Staff#1: This is a very important client and a big project , can you call her?
Mary: She's aware about the clients meeting this morning and I've been calling her since
morning but she's not picking up.
Staff#2: Ms. Roberts will not be happy about this.
(Back at the office)
Mary: Here's your water...!
Stacey: (Check her wristwatch, upset and a little disappointed and mad)
Stacey: It's 9:30already, do you have any update where your manager is? we've been working
with AESOP's Advertising for the past 25 years and we never experienced this kind of problem.
Is your new manager even excited for this new project.
Mary: We apologize for this inconvenience ma'am. Actually She is very excited for today's
meeting Ms. Roberts, Maybe some unexpected things happened on her way here!
25 mins. later
(Agatha Walked in so confidently without any rush)
Agatha: Good Morning Everyone!! I'm sorry for being late today .
Stacey: I believe you're Agatha? the new manager here!
Agatha: Oh yes, it's Agatha Witchwood and you are?
Stacey: Stacey Roberts! the manager of Clean First Cleaning Company! Next time Ms.
Witchwood please be responsible and inform us ahead of time if you're gonna be late especially
if it's an important meeting because we don't wanna waste our time.
Agatha: I will note that, thank you. Anyway, since I'm here now why don't we start our meeting?
The meeting discussed about the new Cleaning products and services of Clean First Cleaning
Company wherein AESOP as an advertising company have to make ways on how to market the
product as well as strategies on how they're going to advertise it to the public to reach the target
market.
After the meeting Agatha, the manager of Aesop together with her Secretary and Staffs also
had a meeting regarding the new project. She discussed the things that should be given
emphasis. That includes the whole plan for the project.
After a week.
Mary: Ms Agatha, just reminding you that the presentation for Clean First's project is tomorrow.
Agatha: What!!? Why didn't they tell me ahead of time?
Mary: Well I did, I also sent you all the details from the last meeting through email as per your
request last week. And 3 days ago, I also reminded you.
Agatha: Enough! Call all the staff now, let's have a meeting.
The truth was, Agatha forgot to check her schedule and also she was unable to check her email
either because she went for a quick trip for an escape because she felt bored .
At the meeting.
Agatha: Tomorrow is the deadline for the presentation for the Clean First's Project, I know that
you're all aware! Where are we now? Klarisse? April? Do you have any suggestions and ideas?
Staff#2 : We raised our suggestions during our meeting and you...
Agatha: And I also told you that if you have any ideas and suggestions directly go to my office,
right?
Agatha: Mary, call Clean First and sew if we can reschedule the presentation.
Mary: Yes , Ms. Agatha .
The manager was trying to micromanage every project because she believes that she knows
everything just because she graduated from a prestigious institution. Because of her
incapabilities and ineffective management skills, they were not able to meet the deadline from
their biggest client. The CEO finds out about it , her inability to manage and take care of a
team.Inability to manage time properly.Not having a good relationship with her team, causes
Agatha's career to end.
