ONLINE CLASS INSTRUCTIONS
1. Classes will be taken up by using the video call application “ZOOM”. Ensure that “Zoom” application
is available on your mobile or laptop whatever is available. Please download zoom by visiting
https://zoom.us/download
2. Ensure that headset (earphones with mic option/ Headset) is available with you. Attending the
lecture on loudspeaker of mobile or laptop is not allowed. NO DEVIATION IN THIS REGARD WILL BE
TOLERATED.
3. Proper Sitting arrangement should be done before the class start. Mobile phone/laptop should be
well placed in front of you. Do not hold it in hand. Tentative sitting plan to be as follows: -
4. A4 Size Note book of Minimum 300 Pages, two pens, well sharped pencil, scale, eraser; water
bottle (If required) should be available with you.
5. Better use chair and table and avoid attending the class sitting on the bed.
6. NO ONE WILL PAUSE OR SWITCH OFF THE VIDEO WHILE THE CLASS IS IN PROGRESS.
7. The Mic should be kept off. MIC options will NOT be blocked at our end but MIC can be put ON only
when you are asked. Even in case of any doubt Mic is not to be switched on without permission. For
asking doubt just press the raise hand option which you can find in the Zoom app. Once you have
raised your hand your name will be announced at a comfortable time to ask your doubt then you
can put your Mic ON and ask your doubt.
8. If by chance your class gets disconnected due to technical errors then you can again rejoin with
same procedure.
9. If there is technical glitch at our end then DON’T DO ANYTHING. As soon as the problem gets
resolved you will be able to attend the class without doing anything. Please DON’T DO ANYTHING at
all during this time like pressing the leave button etc.
10. In online classes much more self-constraint is required for effective learning and it is expected that
you will show the same.
11. If on a particular day you are not at home and are out somewhere and it is possible for you to
attend the class but without proper setup then just inform in this regard well in advance of class.
You can attend the class without proper setup. Even in this situation video is to be kept ON even
though there is no proper set up.
12. In case you fail to attend the class on a particular day then you can attend the repeat class. If you
fail to attend even the repeat class then no further option is available to attend the class.
