Dear Ma’am/Sir,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to request your understanding and permission for
my absence from class in order to prepare for the upcoming acquaintance event on August 30.

Given the importance of this event, I kindly request your approval to be excused from my regular
class commitments on August 27, 2024. This will allow me to dedicate the necessary time to
attend the rehearsal and ensure that our performance is polished and ready for the big day.

I understand the inconvenience this may cause, and I assure you that I will make up for any
missed work or assignments. I am committed to maintaining my academic/professional
