Landing beam

1. Every landing beam has 2 connections

7. Bolt nut size = 25 mm or as per drawings

8. Number of bolts = 6 or 8 or as per drawings


Rafter Splice

1. Every rafter over 12 meter span has splice connections.

2. Plate thickness = rafter flange + 4 mm

3. Splice Plate Length = Rafter length + 100 mm

6. Splice Plate width = Rafter width + 50 mm

7. Bolt nut size = splice plate thickness + 4 mm

8. Number of bolts = splice plate length/75 mm


Stringer Base Plate

1. Every Stair has stringer base plate connection.

2. Plate thickness = 16 mm or 18 mm or as per drawings

5. Stringer Base Plate Length = Stringer beam length + 100 mm

6. Stringer Base Plate width = Stringer beam width + 50 mm

7. Bolt nut size = 18 mm or as per drawings

8. Number of bolts = 6 or 4 or as per drawings


Column Top Plate

1. Every Strut Column has column top plate connection.

2. Plate thickness = 14 mm or 12 mm or as per drawings

5. Column top plate length = column length + 100 mm

6. Column top plate width = column width + 50 mm

7. Bolt nut size = plate thickness + 4 mm

8. Number of bolts = connection plate length/75mm


Decking sheet

1. Count in running feet.

2. Deck sheet width = 915 mm


Total running feet = floor area/900 mm

3. Nos of deck sheet = span length/900mm

4. Nos of shear studs = no of deck sheets x 3 x nos of floor beam
