Team Evaluation
Working as a team, just like in a job, is sometimes a great experience for some; for others it has not
been a pleasant experience, especially if the team waited until the last minute to
begin. Unfortunately, this happens occasionally and the responsible party is left completing the
project on their own and the other partners earn a grade that they did not earn. To alleviate this, I
need each student to answer the following questions in a Word document and then UPLOAD them to
the TEAM EVALUATION UPLOAD. These comments are NOT shared, but instead used to complete
the grading and to get valuable information that I will use for future semesters.
This evaluation is confidential and gives you the opportunity to help me plan for the future. I
appreciate any comments, but unfortunately, not doing it is not an option it is part of your project
grade.
When you save your paper, please save it as Your Last name Team Evaluation. (Ex. Wagner Team
Evaluation)
Please respond to the following questions:
1. What was your teams topic include the number from the topic list please.
10.Information Technology and the Arts
2. Did having the Individual topics to form a group make it manageable? What were the draw backs?
I believe it could be managed excellent if all students were attentive and sure of which topic they
wanted. Students work on assignments and check Brightspace different times a day and that can be
a problem when trying to pair with other students to form a group.
3. Who were your team partners and how did you contact one another?
Nekayla Moss, Trevor Parsons. We initially communicated via Brightspace but found it easier to enter
a group text.
4. When did you begin working on this project and presentation?
I began the day I found my whole group, I started working on it a little at a time as days went on.
5. If you were rating your partner on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best, how would you rate your
partners help in completing this project?
10, they are communicative and reliable.
6. If you rated your partner, below a 8, please explain why you rated them the way you did.
n/a
7. If your partner was rating you on the same scale from 1 to 10, with 10 being the best, how would you
partner rate
Hopefully a 10, I was communicative and offered help if they needed it. I also checked in on them.
8. How many hours per week did you work on this project?
Research took the longest, I would say 3-5 hours a week.
9. How many total hours did it take to complete this project?
It took me the entire length of time from when we found our group to the morning before it was due
solely because every time, I thought I was finished I found something else I wanted to improve or add
on to.
10. For future semesters, what suggestions do you have to improve the way students work with one
another?
Communication and transparency is key
11. If you were not successful with a team partner, please tell me why you think it did not work well.
Please describe the situation and include any documentation that you have. You can copy and paste
emails or other information in this area if needed.
