The provided graph shows the change in prices of three metals for every month in 2014.

Overall, nickel began with highest percentage but ended up with lowest. Zinc started with smallest
proportion but finished with the biggest, whilst copper varied inconsistently.

According to the graph, nickel witnessed a huge decrease from 6 percent in January to 1 percent in
March, then it stabilized for two months, however it dropped again in June to negative 3. While still
being below 0 percent nickel managed to climb to negative 1 in July to October where there was another
minor crash reducing it to negative 2. And finally ending the year with 1 percent. Unlike nickel, copper’s
percentage was average the whole year having only some minor drops. In the beginning of the year,
copper dropped from 2 percent to negative 0.5 percent in May and June, afterwards copper started
climbing to reach 1 percent in July and maintained it for 2 months until September where it suffered its
last drop in the year to 0.5 percent in October and finished the year with a standard 1.5percent.
Finishing off with zinc which started the year with a 1 percent making it the lowest proportion amongst
the three metals, it then got to a 3 percent in the month of February but later on it decreased to
negative 1 percent in the month of June. After that zinc had kind of a static percentage ranging from 0 to
negative 1 percent in the June-October period and ending the year with a 2 percent in December.
