Did you know that the famous astronaut
Chris Hadfield was born in Sarnia, Ontario,
Canada and has three kids; Evan, Kyle
and kristin. He is married to a lovely
women whose name is Helene. Before he
decided to become an astronaut he had a
job as an airplane pilot, which meant he
was used to being up and in the air.

His journey to space

After being a great pilot in the sky he decided to
take it one leap farther. His decision to become
an astronaut happened when he got accepted
into the armed force in the 1970’s out of 3,350
other people who wanted to be astronauts. After
training for two years in the royal roads military
college in British Columbia he went for another
two years at the royal military college in Ontario.
He finally got to launch up to space on June,
1982.

Chris’s video demonstrations don't always go right. Also did
you know that he speaks English and Russian. He was the
very first in many things such as; the first Canadian astronaut,
the first person to walk on the moon and go out for space
walks even though on his first space walk he didn’t see
anything because he was crying and couldn’t wipe his eyes. He
was also very important in building the I.S.S..[International
space station] another cool ability he has is to drive a
one-person submarine.
