The Confusing Experience of Puberty
Narrator: On Monday morning a young girl woke up tired and
fatigue and aches all over her body
(Kwenie: has one hand over her chest and over her stomach)
Kwemie: Agay unsa mani? Ngano ni? (alarm rings looks at alarm)
Kwenie: Hala! Na late nako! (She rushed in dressing her self, grab
some food and run to school)
Narrator: Kwenie arrives in the classroom and luckly the
teacher wasn’t there yet, after Kwenie sat the teacher enter
the classroom.
Teacher: So okay class we wont have discussion today i’ll just give
you seven activities that you have to pass next week ( hands
a paper over to the presendent )
Teacher: You can spend your time ever you want today just make
sure that no one goes out of the classroom (the teacher exited
the room)
(Jannil, Venice, Kwenie)
Jannil: Mana mog buhat sa assignment girls?
Venice: Hala! Wala pa biya
Kwenie: Naa diay assignment?
(Bell ring)
Jannil: Hala okay raka kwenie? Naay mantsa sa imong sayal girl
Kwenie naunsa mana mura lagi nag dugo mura pud siyag tae
Kwenie: Hala ngano ni? Kanang muoli sa ko (Kwenie went home)
Kwenie: Kuya! Kuya Deo kamatyunon nako!
Deo: Ha? Ngano man ka?
Kwenie: naay dugo! (show the back of her skirt)
Deo Hala unsa man ni?
Kwenie: Ya Kamatyonon nako
Deo: Hulat usa ara bi mangayo ko’g tabang
Narrator: Deo went to the neighbor. Yhanna’s house to ask for help
because she might know what’s happening because she is
older teen with a child.
Deo: ayo naay tao?
Yhanna: Ngano man unsay tuyo nimo?
Deo: Pwede nimo tabangan akong manghud naay dugo iyang
sayal, wala ko kabalo ug ngano.
Yhanna: Dali atoang adtuon.
Back to Kwenie’s house)
Narrator: Kwenie is in the bathroom crying her eyes out
Yhanna: Day Kwenie asa man ka? Unsa may gipamati nimo?
Kwenie: Ate unsa ni? Naay dugo akong panty, basin kamatyunon
nako, sakit kaayo akong pus-on. (Yhanna laughed at kwenie’s
situation)
Kwenie: Ate ayaw katawa, Kamatyonon nako dire
Yhanna: Naa moy Kwarta diha? Pagpalit mo og napkin.
(Deo went to the store and went to the sanitary aisle)
Deo: Unsa mani uy, asa akong pilion? Nah Bahala nani uy!
Scene: Deo went back house with multiple bags of napkin
Deo: Diara oh
Yhanna: Daghana ba ana Deo
Kwenie: Ate asa naman si kuya? Lain na kaayo akong gibati.
Yhanna: Dara day ako nang gitaud sa imong panty daan. Hinlui sa
imong kaugalingon. Kabalo Kaba sa una nga Kana imong bag-
ong dinug-an, ipahid na sa imong nawong aron wala kay mga
bugas-bugas.
Kwenie: Kaluod sad ana te uy!
Yhanna: Bahala Ka Ikaw ray mag-antos og mo daghan imong
bugas-bugas
Kwenie: Tinuod man kaha na ate? Ako nalang buhaton diko
gunahan mabati akong nawong.
Narrator: and this ends Kwenie’s chaotic introduction to girl hood.
The next day in school at lunch time with Kwenie’s brother, Deo.
Together with Deo’s classmates. They watched R-18. At the
back of comfort room. While they watching the video they’re
doing something in descent at school.
Deo: Pst! Kanang Earl lantawon sa nato Katong bagong Viral nga
video.
Earl:sige dali ari rata sa likod aron dili ta makit-an
Narrator: While they watching the video they felt a warm sensation
somewhere below the belt. And suddenly Joshua stumbled
there hang-out spot.
Joshua: Nag unsa man mo dira bruh, patan- awa ko bi, ay kana diay
inyong gi lantaw. Sige balik sa ko kay naa pay gisigo si Ms.
Narrator: While Joshua walk out the CR. He though to himself
Joshua: Naunsa man ko uy lalaki man unta ko pero murag naa koy
nabati saakong amego, dili nani maayo, ang pinaka worst pa
gyud sa ako pa gyung barkada.
Narrator: the next day Joshua went to class with his barkada and
then time skip during recess. Deo approached to joshua.
While Joshua doing his project.
Deo: Joshua, Naa kay assignment. Pasunduga ko bi
Joshua: Ayaw sako samoka bruh naa pakoy gibuhat unya nalang.
Deo: aw sige bruh
Narrator: Deo wonder to himself confusedly
Deo: Naunsa man to si pruh uy. Nabag-uhan man ko niya dili man
to siya in-ana.
Narrator: After Deo left Joshua thought to himself
Joshua: Hala! Ngano mani vluy weird lage kaau akong na feel basta
naa si Deo pero lain pod kaayo sa pamati kong wala siya.
Narrator: and this shows struggles of growing up and experience
new emotions.
