The bar chart gives information about the number of four different types of books includes hobbies

book, entertainment book, history book and art book sold over a ten-year period from 2002.
It is clear from the chart that all the given categorise except hobbies book showed a rising trend in
the sales over the period. History books always had the biggest sales. In contrast, hobbies books
were the least popular.
The largest number of books sold was in the history genre with 4500 copies in 2002. After that, the
number of books increased slowly and there were about 5000 copies sold in 2004. But it increased
suddenly in 2006 and reached 8200 copies. In 2006, both art books and entertainment books had a
steady increase and had equal sales of about 2800 copies. In addition, the sales of hobbies books
fluctuated and then decreased to less than 300 copies in 2006.
In 2008, history books’s sales peaked at 10,000 copies. It then dropped to 9000 copies in 2012. It
seems that art books’s popularity has increased as they saw a significant increase in sales and hit
4,000 copies in 2012. Meanwhile, entertainment books remained steady at around 3,200 copies.
Hobbies books is still less popular than other books and only sold around 400 copies in 2012.
