SPEAKING TOPICS

Dear students,

These are some of the issues that we have been addressing in class. Obviously, these are
NOT the questions that you will be posed in the oral exam. Use these as a mere way to
reflect about some of the subtopics you may encounter in the monologue cards (you may
notice there are some topics that are missing, that does not mean they will not be included
in the exam). =)

SOCIAL CONCERNS

• How are the elderly treated in your country?


• Do you have contact with the elderly on a regular basis?
• What is young people’s responsibility to the elderly?
• What do you think the elderly can teach young people?
• Talk about a positive experience you have had with an elderly person.
