Host Configuration
Lesson 7 Lab 1
Objectives
After completing this lab, you should be able to configure hosts using the SSMC.
Introduction
The purpose of the lab is to give you some experience in preparing hosts for an HP 3PAR array VLUN presentation. Certain
hosts must have Fibre Channel HBA tools and drivers loaded to enable the supported configuration. Before storage
presentation, the host along with its port WWNs must be registered with the array through the SSMC. These labs will register
a simulated host.
You will create a dummy host profile and register a new WWN.
NOTE: Depending on your environment, certain parameters might differ from what is shown on the
screenshots in this guide.
