COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course deals with concepts, principles, theories, and techniques of nursing
care management of at risk and sick adult clients in any setting with alterations
/ problems in oxygenation, fluid and electrolytes, infectious, inflammatory and
immunologic response, cellular aberrations, acute and chronic. The learners
areexpectedtoprovidenursingcaretoatriskandsickadultclientsutilizingthe nursing
process.

Classroom Policies:

1. Students must be officially enrolled.


2. Punctuality is a must.
3. Present excuse slip if previously absent from the class.
4. Proper decorum must be observed inside the classroom at all times.
5. Always wear the school uniform (except on Wednesdays & Saturdays) and I.D.incoming to class.

Course Presentation:

Classroom activities are lecture-discussion oriented based on lecture outlines or compilations and textbooks. Hence,students
are required to read suggested reading assignments. It is most important that students come to class properly prepared and are
encouraged to participate and interact with teacher on any concepts being discussed as time allows. As such, you are responsible
to follow the course discussion though your syllabus.
