STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS IN THE YOUTH FIELD
Strategic Partnerships in the youth field are long-term transnational projects that enhance the development and implementation
of innovative practice or tools in youth work, and promote cooperation and exchange of experience at European level. The
projects aim at increasing the quality and outreach of youth work on the one hand, and at the empowerment and participation of
young people on the other hand. To reach these aims, partnerships can be formed with stakeholders from various educational
and socio-economic sectors.
Erasmus+ is the European Union’s programme for boosting skills and employability through activities organised in the field
of education, training, youth, and sport. Youth activities under Erasmus+ aim to improve the key competences, skills and
employability of young people, promote young people's social inclusion and well-being, and foster improvements in youth work
and youth policy at local, national and international level.
