Quantum Computing: Quantum computing uses the
principles of quantum mechanics to process information.
Unlike classical computers, which use bits as the smallest
unit of data, quantum computers use quantum bits or
qubits. Qubits can represent both 0 and 1 simultaneously,
thanks to a property called superposition. This allows
quantum computers to perform complex calculations
much faster than classical computers. Quantum
entanglement, another key principle, enables qubits that
are entangled to be correlated with each other, even over
large distances. Quantum computing holds promise for
advancements in cryptography, optimization problems,
and drug discovery.
