QUANTIFIERS
Some / any : usamos some con nombres contables en plural ( unos/as , algunos/as) y con
incontables ( algo de) en afirmativas y en interrogativas ( solo si se trata de peticiones,
ofrecimientos o invitaciones). Exactamente igual usamos any en interrogativas ( excepto los
casos anteriores) y negativas
Any: también se puede usar any en afirmativas con el significado de cualquier
Many: con nombres contables en plural ( muchos/as) // How many? Cuántos/as?
Much: con nombres incontables (mucho/a) // How much? Cuánto/a?
A lot of / lots of: con nombres contables en plural y con incontables ( un montón /
muchos/as/o/a)
All: todo/ a / s // Every: cada // Most: la mayoría
Few / a few : con nombres contables en plural. Si no ponemos el artículo, su significado es “casi
ninguno / casi nadie”, con el artículo : “unos pocos /as”
Little/ a little: con nombres incontables. Con artículo “un poco /a”, sin artículo “casi nada”
Both: ambos, los dos // Several: varios/as
So much: incontables ( tanto / tanta) So many: contables plural (tantos /tantas)
Too much: incontables ( demasiado / a) Too many : contables plural ( demasiados / as )
Enough: contables e incontables ( suficiente / bastante )
No: contables e incontables + verbo en afirmativa
None (of): ninguno (de)
