Activity Proposal for School Intramurals, S.Y.
2024 – 2025
Theme: “Celebrate sporting glory through ‘Sports for All’!”

I. RATIONALE:

The Philippine basic education is not only focusing the academic aspect
inside the four corners of the classroom. It also gives priority to sports in
elementary and secondary education as included in the curriculum. As a proof
there are some Filipinos who qualified for the Olympics Tournament and went
back to our country bringing the victory. They are one of the inspirations of our
students who want to engage themselves in sports. This is also a good example
of sportsmanship and develops a good camaraderie between students and the
school.

Sports as included in the curriculum are a necessary precursor to develop

students’ talents and abilities to mingle with others. This will help them to avoid
other vices instead focus to their studies and learn to love sports, as to our
School Intramurals theme “Celebrate sporting glory through ‘Sports
for All’!”

The students of North Hill Arbours Integrated School have potential in

sports and are very much willing to participate in different events. That is why
every year we are holding Intramurals activity in preparation for a higher meet.

II. OBJECTIVES:
• To hold an Intramural in school in preparation for higher meets
• To develop sportsmanship among students and make them globally
competitive
• To help students develop self-confidence
• To acquire passion in sports from among learners
