A group of your friends have decided to start a Kindness club in your school where

the students and teachers can donate books and other goods to be sent to
underprivileged children. Draw up a proposal for the setting up of the club, in not
more than 150 words, stating the steps you would take to successfully establish it.

PROPOSAL FOR SETTING UP A KINDNESS CLUB

Introduction: To foster the feelings of kindness and inculcate the values of empathy and
compassion in students, we propose to set up a Kindness Club in school.

Objective: A Kindness Club will enable students to help the underprivileged children, donate
school supplies and provide them with other necessary goods. The club will help the students
participate in society building activities.

List of Measures:
● The ISC activity room will be used as the room for all Kindness Club meetings and
ṣactivities.
● Once in every month, old books, toys and clothes will be collected from each grade and
will be donated to a nearby orphanage.
● Membership of the Kindness Club will be open to all students from Classes VII to XII.
● Club President will be Mrs. Jones, our Senior English Teacher. Five other office bearers
will be elected from among the members of the Club.
● The Club will have a range of activities ranging from charity events, visits to an
orphanage, creating slogans and posters and so on.

We request you to examine the proposal and provide your feedback so that the Kindness Club
becomes a reality in the life of the school.
As a member of the student Council of your school, you have been given the responsibility
of setting up a Movie club. Write a proposal in not more than 150 words, stating the steps
you would take to successfully establish this particular club.

Introduction: To instill confidence in students and learn through interaction and discussion, we
propose to set up a movie club in our school.

Objective: A movie club will help students understand the process and efforts put into making a
movie. It creates a sense of unity across age ranges, social classes and ethnicities through a
shared appreciation of movies.

List of Measures:
- The auditorium will be used for the Movie club meetings and activities.
- The students will be asked to wait after school from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm once a week.
- The club will be open to all students from class 5 to 12.
- Various social issues will be picked and used as topics for the students to make short
films on as a monthly activity.
- The membership of the club is fixed at Rs.300 per month for each student.

Introduction: To educate the students about the Environment and to instill an interest in taking
care of the Environment outside the classroom and introduce the students to the relevance of the
Environment in our daily lives, we propose to set up an Environmental club.

Objectives: An Environmental Club will make the students aware about the catastrophic changes
taking place. It will be instrumental in developing good morals in order to take better care of the
environment.

List of Measures:
● The sixth floor hall will be used as the room for all Environment Club meetings and
activities.
● The meetings will take place between 1.00 pm and 2.30 pm after school.
The activities such as talks by environmentalists or competitions will take place on Sundays.
● Membership of the Environment Club will be open to all students from Classes V
onwards. The Club President will be Mr. Nadal, our Senior Geography Teacher. Eight
other office bearers will be elected from the members of the Club.
● Club membership has been fixed at Rs.150/- per member per year.
● The Club will have a range of activities ranging from Environmental Workshops to
creating slogans and posters, beach cleaning drives and other social initiatives.

PROPOSAL FOR SETTING UP A MUN CLUB

Introduction: To introduce students to the concept of a Model UN and further their understanding
of international diplomacy, we propose to set up a MUN Club.

Objectives: A MUN club will give high school students a realistic and deeper understanding of
international diplomacy while helping them instill diplomatic qualities in themselves. It will help
them improve their oratory skills along with their strategizing and analyzing skills.

List of Measures:

● The ISC art room will be used as the room for all MUN Club meetings and activities.
● Meetings will be held twice a month.
● Membership of the MUN Club will be open to all students from Classes VII to XII.
However, the final selection will be done by the Teacher in Charge and the President.
● Teacher in Charge will be Mr Omar Khurshid, our Senior English Teacher. Five other
office bearers will be elected from among the members of the Club.
● The Club will have a range of preparation sessions for aspiring MUNers.
● Every month, a few students, according to their performance, will be chosen to represent
the school at various reputed MUN conferences from all over India.

becomes a reality in the life of the school.
As a member of the student council of your school, you have been given the responsibility
to establish lockers for high school students. Write a proposal in not more than 150 words
stating the steps you will take to set up the locker.

PROPOSAL FOR SETTING UP LOCKERS

Introduction: To reduce the overall load on students carrying books daily and convenient
storage for belongings, we propose to set up lockers in the school.

Objectives: Installing lockers will allow the students to store belongings without compromising
their safety in the school. It will also ensure that the classrooms are not cluttered with
unnecessary items.

List of measures:-
● The lockers will be placed in each classroom.
● Once every two months, students may take their belongings back home for the
maintenance of the lockers.
● The locker facility will be available for all students from grade IX and XII.
● Lockers will be provided with digital locks. The passwords will be provided by the
respective class teachers.
● Students interested in locker facilities, may pay a cost of ₹1000, which will be collected
by the class teacher.
