Action Submittals:
Product Data: Manufacturer’s product data sheets with descriptive data and product attributes,
including optional variations required.
PART 2 – PRODUCTS
FINISHED FLOOR DRAINS
MIFAB Series F100-C-TS “Top-Set” finished floor drains in accordance with the drawing schedule, sized to
suit the connecting pipe, each equipped with a ½” trap seal primer connection, a plastic protective cover for
the strainer, and any optional variations indicated on the floor drain schedule.
DRAINAGE PIPE FLOOR CLEANOUTS
MIFAB C1100-TOS Series “TOP SET” double adjustable vandal proof floor cleanouts to suit the size and
type of connecting pipe and equipped with 5” round nickel-bronze covers, a carpet marker for use in carpet
floor finishes, and a protective temporary cover.
PART 3 – EXECUTION
FINISHED FLOOR DRAIN INSTALLATION
Provide finished floor drains where shown on the drawings.
Equip each drain with a trap and trap seal primer piping.
In equipment rooms and similar areas locate floor drains to suit the location of mechanical equipment and
equipment indirect drainage piping.
In washrooms coordinate drain locations to avoid interference with toilet partitions.

Confirm floor drain locations prior to roughing-in.
Ensure that floor drain temporary caps are in place prior to concrete pours, and remain in place until floor
finishing work and adjacent construction work is complete.
DRAINAGE PIPE FLOOR CLEANOUT INSTALLATION
Where cleanouts occur in horizontal inaccessible drainage piping, extend the TY pipe fitting up to the floor
and provide a floor cleanout set flush with the finished floor.
Confirm floor cleanout locations prior to roughing-in.
Ensure that floor cleanout temporary covers are in place prior to concrete pours, and remain in place until
floor finishing work and adjacent construction work is complete.
