Traction Sub Station (TSS) - Status
1 Name board for TSS is provided on fencing facing track?
2 Provided caution board for staff (Minimum one on each side, near main gate and on control room gate):

4 25 kv AC Danger Board and protected area boards are provided on the fencing facing track and on the main entry?
Earthing:
5 Provided as per approved earthing layout based on ACTM guide line?
6 Total number of earth pits (Typically 40):
7 Earth Pit Covers are with handle
8 Individual Earth pit Resistance is less than 10 ohm
9 Combined earth value is less than 0.5ohms?
10 Earth pit boxes are casted?
11 Earth pit boxes are made as per RDSO drawings?
12 earth pit boxes are buried in the ground as per RDSO drawing? Stencilling of all the earth resistance values are done?
Control panel room is separately earthed with 50 mm x 6 mm flat in merry - go-round on just above the floor level.

All equipment - CT, PT, CT, LA, SPI, DPI, AT, BM, power Transformer etc are with double earthing . For LA - separate

earthing (working of surge counter to be confirmed for ensuring leakage current and number of surge).

Buried rail: Buried Rail of 13 M length is buried near feeding post gantry fencing coming from secondary side of

transformer. It should be connected with all traction rail (s) by 75x8 mm MS flat.
Opposite to TSS/FP all the traction rails are provided with rail bonds at approximate distance of 300 M, 500 M, 700 M

from the SS/FP.
Cable Trench: It is as per approved drawing based on RDSO. Depth, Width, Depth of Trench is as per RDSO standard.

Execution of cable trench and earthing sya=stem are done as per Approved earthing layout drawing available at site.
Control Room:

38 No. and type of Fire Extinguishers provided with next due date?
Battery room:
39 ALL the batteries(55 cells, 200AH, 2.1 volts, Total bank Voltage 110 Volts) are commissioned and properly numbered?
40 Specific gravity of the battery has been taken?(Typically 1220)
41 Exhaust fan is provided in battery room?
42 No sulphation is there on the battery terminal?
43 Anti-Acid tiles on floor with skirting are provided?
44 voltmeter and hydrometer are provided in battery room?
45 If manned, Competency certificate for operation of interrupter and isolator is given to manning staff?
46 Earth fault test (providing discharge rod on busbar between LV CB and feeder CV) is done:
