PART C CO BTL
1 A hexagonal prism of base side 30 mm and axis length 60 mm rests on the HP on its 3 3
base with two of its rectangular faces parallel to VP. It is cut by a section plane
inclined at 30° to HP cutting the axis of the prism at a height of 45 mm from its base.

2 Draw the isometric view of a frustum of a hexagonal pyramid. The side of the base is
3 3
40 mm and that of the top surface is 20 mm, the height of the frustum is 60 mm.
3 Draw the isometric view of a frustum of a pentagonal pyramid. The side of the base 3 3
is 40 mm and that of the top surface is 25 mm, the height of the frustum is 60 mm.
4 Draw the isometric view of a frustum of a square pyramid. The side of the base is 40 3 3
mm and that of the top surface is 20 mm, the height of the frustum is 60 mm.
5 Draw the isometric view of a cylinder of radius 20 mm and axis length 65 mm when 3 3
it is resting on HP on its base.
6 A hexagonal prism of base side 35 mm and axis 65 mm is resting on HP with it base 3 3
such that, two of its base edges are parallel to VP. It is cut by a sectional plane that is
perpendicular to VP and inclined at an angle of 45° to HP, passing through the axis
point which is 20 mm from the top. Draw the isometric view of the remaining
portion of the prism clearly showing the cut view.
7 A cylinder of base diameter 50 mm and axis length 70 mm rests with its base on HP. 3 3
It is cut by a plane inclined at 30° to HP and passing through the right corner of the
top face of the cylinder. Draw the isometric view of the remaining portion of the
cylinder.

diameter of the base is 50 mm and of the top surface is 30 mm.
9. A hexagonal pyramid of base 35 mm and height 55 mm rest with its base on HP. An 3 3
edge of the base is parallel to VP and nearer to it. A horizontal section plane cuts the
pyramid and passes through a point on the axis at a distance of 25 mm from the
apex. Draw the isometric view of the frustum of the pyramid.
