ABSTRACT
Industrial training is an important phase of a student life. A well planned, properly
executed and evaluated industrial training helps a lot in developing a professional attitude.
It develop an awareness of industrial approach to problem solving, based on a broad
understanding of process and mode of operation of organization. The aim and motivation
of this industrial training is to receive discipline, skills, teamwork and technical knowledge
through a proper training environment, which will help me, as a student in the field of
Information Technology, to develop a responsiveness of the self-disciplinary nature of
problems in information and communication technology.
Throughout this industrial training, I have been learned new programming language that
required for the Robot system, the process of the production lines.
This report discusses the technical skills gained during the training period and justifyingthe
relevance of the scheme in equipping students with needed technical competence to
thrivein the real world.

● SAFETY GUIDELINES FOR MACHINING
● SAFETY GUIDELINES FOR LATHE MACHINE:
A lathe machine is not a stunt machine. If you use it carefully it can be a
blessing for you. But if you are careless using it... it can become a curse for you.
Yes sir! It is not a teddy bear you used to play with when you were a child. Be a man. Give
your lathe machine respect when using it, and it will make your life easier.
Here are some lathe machine safety tips every beginner lathe machine operator must be
aware of to protect himself against moving or flying parts
● LATHE MACHINE SAFETY TIPS:
1. Whenever you clamp the workpiece in the chuck, always remove the chuck key
immediately. It's simple enough, but when you are starting out it's really easy to
forget. If you turn on the spindle without removing the key you will have a flying
key on the loose. It can hit your face, chest, stomach, or even the soft place down
there.
2. Never leave the machine alone in the middle of a machining operation.
3. If you are not using the machine, turn off the power using the isolator switch.
4. Never wear gloves, a watch, ring, long necklace, other jewelry, tie, or any other type of loose
wearable. Such items can easily get stuck in a rotating chuck or workpiece while the machine,
can cause you severe accidents or even life.
5. Always keep a first aid kit inside the workshop, which should be easily accessible to
everyone, so that it can be used quickly when needed.

● SAFETY GUIDELINES FOR DRILLING MACHINE:
Pillar drilling machine is suitable for drilling holes into larger surfaces.
There are plenty of safety devices that have been already attached by
manufacturers. However, you are free to add more safety devices or ask for
custom solutions from pillar drilling machine manufacturers in India. Here are some
safety rules that assure you that you are not harmed in any way. In searching for
the drilling a bit, many things are there which one has to consider. The initial thing
which one has to think about is torque of the machine. The torque can assist you
recognize the drill and other features. The pillar drilling machine manufacturers
india having torque of around 400-500 every minute is finest to utilize in handling
easy drilling tasks within home.
● DRILLING MACHINE SAFETY TIPS :
1. You should not how you can stop the machine in case of emergency. Always
use this emergency button when you wanted to turn off the drilling machine
suddenly
2. Next step is to remove chuck key before you turn on the machine. If key is
not removed then it may fly off or it can cause potential damage too during
operation
3. Also check the position of drill guard. It would be great wearing safety
goggles before you start drilling. If you don't have goggle, don't start the
process
4. Now protect your hands using gloves. Drill bits are extremely hot during
operation. Once you are done, unplug the machine and keep it away from
your kids.

● SAFETY GUIDELINES FOR WELDING MACHINE:
Welding can be dangerous if safety guidelines are not followed, with
hazards including exposure to harmful fumes and gases, electric shock, fire and
explosions. Safety is key to having a long and successful career in the welding
industry. It is important for welders to practice safety by analyzing their surroundings,
using tools and equipment correctly, following manufacturer guidelines and ensuring
others are not in harm's way.
To practice safe welding, welders should study and stay updated on safety
procedures, protect themselves from fumes and gases, take precautions against
electrocution, check their equipment, avoid clutter, know their environment, dress
appropriately, wear the right personal protective equipment (PPE), avoid stress
injuries and enforce safety procedures. Additional resources for welding safety tips
include the Office of Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the American National
Standards Institute (ANSI), the American Welding Society (AWS) and Lincoln Electric
Welding Safety Resources.
● WELDING MACHINE SAFETY TIPS:
1. . To prevent injury to personnel, extreme caution should be exercised
when using any types of welding equipment. Injury can result from fire,
explosions, electric shock, or harmful agents. Both the general and
specific safety precautions listed below must be strictly observed by
workers who weld or cut metals.
2. Do not permit unauthorized persons to use welding or cutting equipment.
3. Do not weld in a building with wooden floors, unless the floors are
protected from hot metal by means of fire resistant fabric, sand, or other
fireproof material.
4. Remove all flammable material, such as cotton, oil, gasoline, etc., from
the vicinity of welding.

CONCLUSION
After undergoing my training at "SHRINATH MECHANICAL, PANDHARPUR" for a
brief period of 6 weeks I can make out similarities between what goes around in an
industry and what we learnt during our academics. During training we learnt about
the practical implementation of all the theories that we learnt during our
academics.
Thanks to the training which had given me a great exposure about the industry
and its functioning. The training had given me practical knowledge of the various
machines and their operations. This training also made me aware of the
environment present in the typical mechanical based industry. Thus, helping me in
my future career. With all these
positive points at my disposal I conclude that my training is a lifetime experience
for me.
