GUIDELINES FOR QUESTION PAPER SETTERS

01. You are requested to set Question Paper in the Prescribed Format
(Preferably typed in A4 size paper) with necessary instructions.
02. Question paper must be set in 2003-2007 Word format only.
03. Submit images/Figures in jpg format and embed them in the question
paper.
04. Particulars regarding Regulation, Programme, Branch, Semester, Subject
code/Subject name, Duration, Maximum Marks and any other instructions
to candidates, like Tables/ Charts to be supplied etc., must be clearly given
in the Question Paper.
05. Figure Number/ Table Number must correspond to the question number in
which they occur.

07. For short question – Multiple choice question, Objective type question, Fill in
the blanks etc., must be avoided.
08. Specific care should be taken while allotting the distribution of the
marks for each/sub – division
and the marks should be clearly indicated for each subdivision also.
09. The question must be evenly distributed over the entire syllabus and not
concentrated on few portions only.
10. S.I units must be adopted.
11. In case any of your relative is appearing for the above examination, you are
requested to decline the offer of Examinership immediately.
12. The Question Paper key (if requested) and Claim Form should reach the
Office of COE through email on or before the last date prescribed.
13. The Question Paper setters are requested to keep their appointments
strictly confidential.
14. The Question Paper (& key if requested) must be Password Protected.
15.The Question Paper without password protection will not be
accepted.
16. The Question Paper, Claim Form (& key if requested) must be sent to the
mail: -----------------The Question Paper (& key if requested) in Word 2003-
2007 format and the claim in pdf format must be sent in separate
folders.
17. The password and the Subject code must be sent to the mail id
-------------------- on or before the last date prescribed.
18. Download the claim form, put your Signature in the filled form and scan it
as a PDF file and send through email (OR) The filled claim form with
signature may be sent through post/courier by name to the Controller of
Examinations
19. The Cheque/DD for remuneration for QP Setting will be sent by post/courier
to the address furnished in the claim bill on receipt.
